A Burn (Katsuki Bakugou X Reader)

Chapter Two

Y/n Pov

Class was finally over and I stretched happily.

"Hey Izuku! I'm going to grab us some drinks!" You said and he nodded.

You were at the vending machine getting two strawberry milks. You suddenly heard shouting and crashing noises. You grabbed the drinks and ran back to the classroom.

You saw Izuku trembling and his shoulder had smoke coming off it.

"Izuku are you okay?" You asked as you rushed to him.

He filled you in on what happened as you healed his light burns on his shoulder with your healing quirk.

"I should've been there to help you." You said sadly.

"It's fine!" He said but you can see he was upset with everything Katsuki said, you were too.

A couple of fishes was eating his notebook and you both frowned.

"My dreams turned into fish food." He mumbled sadly.

"Izuku don't let him bring you down or believe anything he says! You're going to become an amazing hero!" You said and he smiled softly as you handed him his drink.

You both chatted until you had to split up.

"See you later!" You said happily and walked towards your home.

As you were walking, you heard explosions going off and saw fire ahead.

"What's going on?" You said to yourself as you ran towards it.

You saw a crowd of people and tried to see what was going on. You could see flames everywhere. You could see a villain that was some sort of green sludge.

"He has a boy as a hostage!" A bystander yelled.

Your eyes widened as you saw who the boy was. Suddenly his eyes looked towards you.

They were filled with so many emotions. He looked as if he wanted to live and was terrified. My legs moved right behind Izuku.

There was no way I'm going to watch and do nothing.

"You idiots don't do it!" Heroes yelled at us as Izuku threw his bag hitting the villain's eye blinding him.

Izuku began to try to dig Katsuki out. I reached in and used my air quirk to create air bubbles to help Katsuki breath as we tried to pull him out.

"What are you guys doing here?" Katsuki asked desperately.

"I don't know my legs just started moving! Kachan I couldn't just stand and watch you die!" Izuku yelled and you felt ears fall down your cheeks as you struggle to get him out.

Suddenly the villain started to suck you in. You couldn't escape his grasped and tried to fight back but no luck. Once you were completely sucked in and began to kick Katsuki out until he was freed. Katsuki eyes widened as he watched me struggle for air.

"Y/n!" Izuku yelled.

I began to use my air quirk again to try and escape but I only caused wind to whip around viciously. My vision was getting hazy, as I couldn't breathe. Katsuki was trying to tear me out.

All I could hear was yelling as I saw pitch black. I felt someone grab my arm.

"Detroit Smash!" A voice yelled. The Villain blew off me and wind blew powerfully. Katsuki had his arm around me shielding me.

I collapsed on the ground with Izuku and Katsuki. I felt raindrops hit my face. Looking around exhausted, I see All Might.

After the heroes collected all of the villains sludge, they handed it over to the police. I watched as the heroes lectured Izuku and praised Katsuki.

"Y/n are you okay? You shouldn't run into situations like these." A hero lectured me. Many of the heroes know me since I lived with All Might when I was little and because they were friends of my parents. I nodded at them and apologized.

Time Skip

I was on my way home when I heard yelling.

"Y/n!" Katsuki yelled as he ran up to me.

"Look I don't owe you anything! You guys did nothing to help me!" He yelled leaving you confused.

"Go get some rest. Today was a long day Katsuki." You said as you flicked his forehead. You began to walk away.

"Are you hurt?" He asked unhappily.

"Aww are you worried about me?" You teased giving him a soft smile. A blush crept onto his face.

"Bye Katsuki." You said happily.

You arrived home to see Toshinori in his deflated form waiting.

"What were you thinking idiot!" He yelled as he smacked the back of your head. He sighed as you winced in pain holding your head.

"Are you alright?" He asked worried.

"I'm fine! Also thank you for saving me." You said happily.

He filled you in on Izuku and you couldn't help but smile.

'I'm happy for you Izuku, I believe in you.'
