She was poison

In the form of a shiny red apple

gleaming

just begging  you to take a

bite

But when your teeth

ripped of that perfect skin

vile, incurable sores

sizzled on your dripping

tongue

your throat

filled with  blood

gargling from froth-filled lungs

chocking

coughing up your insides

filled with unmeasurable pain

your hands drag themselves across the floorboards

fragments of wood burrowing themselves under your

fingernails

you scream

spluttering

as you take one last, rasping gasp

and fall down to the

ground.
