There has never been a moment where I didn't see love as something to give away. Its annoying. All the things people go through just to say those three stupid words, 'I love you'. I mean, freaking Buddha, just say it! It's not that hard! I've said it to over half the damn country in my line of work. Of course, everyone knows that I don't actually mean it. Love is something to be given and received, traded in exchange for something a little more valuable. Most people hate the work of love trade. Me? I tend to enjoy my line of work from time to time. There are some brave sexy men out there looking for a good time if you know what I mean.

Although a big downside to my work is often times the patrons I get. Men who think that just because I sell my body for a living I'm not a real person with real feelings. But it's not like I can't defend myself against them. I've been doing this since I was twelve, the older girls were like mentors to me and taught me what to do in just about every situation imaginable. It's come in handy many times. I also know the sick and twisted pleasures of some of the highest ranking people in this country of Sunagakure.

Most nights I can stand against this wall and look at some of the people walking by and know from experience what they like to do in bed. Often times, people won't let their true kinky nature out when in bed with someone they care about. But with me? Everything is out in the open. There is not a darn thing I haven't been asked to do. Except... When I met him.

It was a normal night at first. Cool, breezy, filled my best girlfriends annoying laughter as she prattled on and on about some awkward patron she had last night. There were times I hated Undra. She was such a stereotypical prostitute and insisted on standing next to me every night. I know for a damn fact I could have more patrons if she just walked to a different area and left me alone. But I enjoy her company sometimes. She gives me things to think about, laugh at. That night I was grateful for her company.

"So by the end of the night he had taken the whole damn bowl and made it disappear, but I'm not saying where he put them." Undra winked and I rolled my eyes.

"You're such a skank."

"Like you're one to talk honey." She pushed me lightly.

It's normally like this. We like to trash talk each other and be abusive and laugh. It's just what we do. But in the midst of our play, I heard my name called out. "Kisa!" Turning, I found my favorite customer, Kankuro, heading across the street, a bright smile on his face.

"Kankuro!" I draped my arms around his neck and gave him a peck on the lips. "Long time no see. Where you been, baby?"

"Work, work, and more work. So stressful, you should give me a free ride to help me relax." He started the journey up my leg with his hand, me intercepting quickly by bending his hand back at an awkward angle. "Ow."

"How about no." My voice and expression were teasing.

"You should know by now," Undra started, coming up behind me and leaning on my shoulder. "Kisa doesn't give free rides to anyone." True to everything. Love ain't free people. And I have bills to pay. A flash of red behind him alerted me to the younger man who, until then, I hadn't noticed.

"Whose you're friend?" I asked.

Kankuro looked behind him. "Ah, you remember me telling you about my little brother, right?"

His brother?! "So this is Gaara?!" I said excitedly, walking over to him and looking him up and down from all angles. "Mmmm, well aren't you a cutie." He looked like he really didn't want to be there. Well we'll just have to fix that little fact. With arms over his shoulders, I sent my hands up and down his chest. "I'm Kisa Masoki." I whispered in his ear slowly. "Your brother talks about you all the time. Such nice things."

"Get off." He said, stoically.

I let go and walked over to Kankuro again with my hands up in surrender. "Okay, okay. I know when my services aren't wanted." And speaking of services, I saw Undra walking around the corner with a man next to her. Seems she got some work. Oh yeah, work. "So then Kankuro, what brings you over here?"

"Sorry to disappoint, Kisa. Gaara and I are looking for someone." He said.

"There have been several murders around this area lately. Have you noticed anything odd?" Gaara has such a nice voice. Wish he would around more often.

"Sorry cutie, the only thing odd I've seen is Undra getting work." And that's when the scream broke the air, and stole my breath. "Undra!" I ran around the corner, hearing Kankuro and Gaara behind me as well. As soon as I rounded the next corner to the ally she normally took her customers, I had to stop and throw up. The vision of my friend in front of me was..... just to much to take. Undra was... cut open... her insides twisted... her eyes wide and frightened. She was just murdered, she was played with.

"Damn it." Kankuro breathed. Someone was gripping my shoulders and leading me up and out of the ally way. "Get the undertakers over here, now. We need to get Kisa out of here, she might have seen the man who was last with her." Kankuro's voice was farther away. Was it Gaara who helped me? I don't know. Oh my God, Undra. Undra. Someone killed her.

~If I could take a moment of your time, I would like to ask a favor. You see I've never written anything quite like this story, and as far as the first chapter goes, I would like to know how you all really feel about the idea. It's just so that I know I'm not losing anyone's interest or confidence. Much appreciated, Bay Rouge.~
