"I'm sorry," he interrupted, "you can't do this. Not now. I've... I've been seeing someone."
Her heart stopped. "Oh. Well," she scratched the back of her head, "she better not be an idiot like I was. I hope she knows she's got something special."
"You really think so?" She nodded. He got up and picked up his jacket. "You know... If you had told me that 6 months ago - "
"I know," she said, "I know.""
