It was a normal day at the hell hole, school, just like every school morning I would walk to school with my best friend, Ari, she always told me she had a crush on me but I never believe her, I mean I like her too but not in that way
You: So who you going to prom with, Ari?
Ari: I'm not going
You: Why?
Ari: Because the person I wanna ask out is not interested
You: Well that's messed up but let's just go to prom as friends
Ari: Nah, I just really don't wanna be around a lot of people
You: Fine, if you not going I'm not going
Ari: Nooo, I want you to have a great time so don't worry about me
*At the end of the day at school*

I saw Ari and some girl talking, I mean she's not even that cute anyways----Why did I just say that I can't be jealous and I can't have feelings for Ari because she's my best friend
Ari walked back to me smiling, she has the most beautiful smile ever---stop it Y/N, remember you don't like her like that
Ari: Girl, I finally got ask to prom
She seemed so excited but why do I feel so sad
You: That's great, I hope you have fun *fake smiles*
Ari: Thanks, did you get ask out?
You: No, I was kinda excited about going to Prom at first but I really don't care no more, so I'm not going
Ari: Trust me you're going whether you like it or not, now I have to go shopping for a suit
You: Right now?
Ari: Yeah, let's go *she drags you along with her*
•At the dress and suit boutique•
Y/N POV
We arrived at the boutique, to be honest I don't even know why I'm here, but Ari begged me to come with her sooo...
Ari: So I'm gonna try on a suit, while you wait do you wanna try on a dress, maybe?
You: Nah I'm good
Ari: Pleaseeeee
She gave me her sad face, she's so cute--- I need to stop thinking this way
You: FINE *blushes and smiles*

I grabbed a black dress, because I loveeee black, and went into a changing room
I came out and looked in the mirror, this dress is really not that bad
Then Ari came out looking gorgeous, even though she was just wearing a suit
Ari: Wow, Y/N you look breathtaking
You: Are you sure?
Ari: Of course
You: Thank you so much, but you look more breathtaking

You: Oh I'm sorry

It was a awkward silence until Ari broke it
Ari: Y/N, I didn't really get ask out to prom

You: I hate you, so much *fake pouts*
Ari: *continues laughing* ok I'm sorry
You: It's not funny *still pouting*
Ari: You can't stay mad at me forever
You: Fine, then why did you bring me here?
Ari: Because I wanted to ask you something important
You: And that is??? *confused*
Ari: Would you like to go to prom with me?
I guess I do have feelings for Ari
You: YES!!!!
That yell caused people to look
You: Sorry, sorry
Ari: *laughs* I got you good
You: That wasn't funny, Imma get you back one day
