"Hurry up Natalie! You should be the first person to be ready!", I heard Rafael shout.
I slipped my feet into my blue vans and opened the door.
All I needed to wear was my Nike sweatpants with my team's logo, my teams tshirt, my teams sweater, and that's it. But it took me so long cause I couldn't find any of that stuff.
I jogged down the stairs only to find Jacob sitting against the wall on his phone. He had on a red sweater with grey sweatpants joggers. He didn't wear shoes but Nike sandals.
"Oh hey Nat. You ready?", he asked as he began to get up. He smiled his phone into his joggers pocket and he grabbed his suitcase.
I jumped off the last step and smiled.
"Yea. Ive been ready for this."

"Why do Ethan and Grayson have to come?", I asked Rafael. Ethan and Grayson gave me death stares.
"Mom is in Mexico again remember? Ethan takes her place, and dad didn't wanna come. You know how he is, so Grayson took his.", Rafael said.
"Well it's okay. Ethan and Grayson will make this trip a lot better honestly.", I said with a smile.

"You guys look stupid with those sweaters.", I laughed.
The three of them rolled their eyes. Jacob and I walked up ahead in the airport. I always loved going to the Starbucks here. It was the only Starbucks that had my favorite drink. And I was gonna meet my team there too so I kinda had to go there.
"Natalie!", they all shouted as Jacob and I walked over to Starbucks.
"Aye what's up guys?", I laughed.
"Oh I completely forgot Caroline and Trinity are on your team.", Jacob chuckled.
Caroline took a sip from her drink and raised an eyebrow at Jacob.
"Jacob!", Trinity spat out.
A girl on my team named Destiny walked up to me and pulled me aside.
"Is that your boyfriend?", she asked eyeing Jacob up and down. "Haha yea. Don't you remember Jacob from two years ago?"
Destiny gave me a confused look.
"He went to every single game. Was like our human mascot."
Her eyes shot wide open.
"That's Jacob! Oh my goodness he's changed so much! He grew! And damn he's fine as fuck.", she smirked.
I pulled one of her brown braids till she screamed.
"Yea well he's taken Des."
She raised her arms and giggled.
"Sorry sorry. I remember you two were like best friends!", she exclaimed. I bit my lip and rubbed my arm on the side.
"Things can change.", I said with a smile.
"Okay ladies we have to board now.", my coach told us all. My eyes caught sight on Ethan, Grayson, and Rafael in the line. They had different seats.
"So who wants to sit with me and Jacob?", I asked my teammates.
Jacob and I watched as everyone began to jump up and down raising their hands.
Of course I loved every single person on my team and this was a hard decision but...
"Mollie.", I said.
Everyone began to scurry around with other people as Mollie slowly got up. Mollie was a tall quiet brunette. But she sure was a beast on the field as the defender.
"I don't remember her being on the team.", Jacob whispered in my ear.
"Mollie is new to our team. She came at the beginning of this year. Mollie this is Jacob.", I said.
She gave a shy smile to Jacob and he waved back at her. Everyone began to board so we followed. Rafael had already turned in our tickets so we were off to San Francisco!
"Go to F 7, 8 & 9.", Rafael shouted to us from the end of the plane.
Jacob sat at the window seat with me in the middle and Mollie on the edge. I felt Jacobs hand grab onto mine.
"I can't wait to watch you play again.", he smiled.
"Ahhh I just can't wait to go to state finals. I mean, there's some really good coaches there looking for girls and boys to scout. And if I get scouted, that would be such a dream come true!", I exclaimed.
"Well if you do get scouted, which you probably will, you might have to move to another state or even another country if you wanna play with them.", Mollie said,"My brother got scouted from a team in England, we decided to send him over since we couldn't really move so he's there instead."
"Nat, I don't want you to get scouted anymore.", Jacob said with a trembling voice. I laughed and squeezed his hand harder.

My phone has water damage :/ my brothers dog(frenchbull dog) fell in our pool & those dogs can't really swim cause they are so fat so he could have drowned. Luckily i was sitting at the edge near where he fell. So i just slipped into the pool with my phone in my hand, and pushed him back out. I saved him but my phone died in the process :(
But what matters is that i saved the poor fat dog lmao & im getting a replacement phone tomorrow ! I didnt have a phone for maybe 4 days & im using my moms.
