"Ok thank you," I hung up my phone and got into the car. "Who was that?" He turned to face me. "Nothing just a wrong number." I smiled falsely. "Oh alright." He was wary but dropped it. I slowly backed out of the parking spot. His hand held mine. "What do you want for your birthday?" He brought up out of the blue. My birthday was in seventeen days. "You to be alright." I brought his hand to my lips kissing it softly. "I mean an actual gift." I shrugged. "I don't really know." I turned the corner to our apartment building. "You have to want something." He whined a little bit. "I want you to be here. I want you to be ok. I want you," put the car in park. "You so selfish." He huffed. "I just want you to be alright. I wanna know that when I come home you will be there and you won't be searching for me. Your sanity is my number one priority." I leaned over and kissed his lips. He kissed me back. "That's my line." He laughed. "But I stole it," I kissed his nose getting out of the car. "Don't you have to meet Sammy?" I locked the car. "Not until three thirty." It was two forty five. "We'll I need to leave at three thirty." He held my hand. "Reynolds Madeline and mendes," he told the big guards. They opened the door and he led me towards the elevator. "No baby. I can't," I shook my head. "It'll be ok." He squeezed my hand for reassurance. The door opened and he looked around it. His body shivered as he stepped in. "Baby," he said as I looked around. "It's ok," he kissed me gently. The elevator stopped but it was our floor yet. "Maddy," Sabrina hugged me. I hugged her back. "I feel like I haven't seen you in forever." Shawn and Maddox bro hugged. "How are you doing." Sabrina asked. "Ok," Shawn started looking around. He had a worried expression on his face. "Baby. Look at me." They pushed the button for our floor again so it didn't light up and instead they pushed the top floor. He looked down at me and he looked so broken. I thought about watching him in that stimulator. I completely blanked out. "He's had enough," I said sternly to nobody. "I'm right here." I reached my hand out for his. It connected with mine snapping me out of my daze. "What happened?" He held me close. They pushed the emergency stop button and watched. I shook my head. Tears formed in my eyes. "You can talk to me," her lifted my head. "I didn't have a phone call." He looked confused. "She made me leave the room to see what you would do ok your own." I cried a little. "Ok so why are you crying." He held me close. "Because I watched you." I looked up at him. "And it hurt to see you in so much pain. You were crying and yelling things that broke me. I told her to let you out and she didn't. I'm sorry," I wrapped my arms around him pushing the button again making the elevator go. "I can't do it anymore." A worried expression appeared on his face. "Elevators bring up to many bad memories." He held my head into his chest. "You know I love you right," he kissed my head. I nodded. "I don't care what happened back there or if she didn't let me out or not. All I want to know is that your safe. If your safe than I will be ok." The elevator stopped on our floor. "See you guys," I smiled a broken smile through the tears getting out. "I was thinking we could have the wedding the week after my birthday." Shawn told me as we walked into the apartment. "I think we need to go house hunting." I looked around at our small place. "We should shouldn't we." He laughed. "We can go tomorrow." He laughed. I kissed him. I checked the time. "Sorry baby. I gotta go," I pouted. I grabbed my phone and Sammy's car keys. He walked to the door. Kissing my lips. "Mm," he mumbled against my lips. "You have to be back by six." He kissed me again. "Alright" I held my phone. "And don't turn your phone off." He yelled after me as I walked towards the stairs. "I won't." I got into Sammy's car. Driving in the direction of his house. After driving for about ten minutes i arrived at his house. The driveway was full of cars. I opened the door with my keys. "Hey Maddy," Sammy called everybody turned in my direction. "So why did you want us all here? Where's Shawn?" Taylor had a lot of questions. "I got my test results back," they all smiled. "And..." I nodded. "I just need to figure out how to tell Shawn. I want to do it on his birthday. But I need ideas. Anybody got any?" We talked for about an hour or two and we finally got a great idea. "Alright so everybody is going to meet where?" Everyone looked around. "Here. We will set it up. You just bring Shawn." Sammy said. They all nodded. "Alright then," my phone buzzed. "Shawn," Sammy said to Nate. "No fair. I didn't even get time," Nate shook his head. "What's up." I said into the phone. "When are you coming home? I have something I really want to show you." I smiled slightly. "I'll be him soon I promise." Everybody stared at me. "Alright love you," I could feel him smile into the phone making my growl. "Sorry," he laughed. "What so funny?" I growled again. "You sound like me," I shivered. "Ew," he scoffed. "Bye. See you soon," he hung up. "That is the weirdest phone call I've ever heard." Summer laughed. "And have you heard our conversations?" I laughed with her. "Alright so we got it all figured out." They nodded their heads. Everybody stood up including Sammy. He said he would drive me home. "Are you excited. The wedding is coming up soon," he put his hand on my knee. "Yeah." I smiled. "So have you guys decided all of the small details like brides men and stuff?" I laughed. "All I know is who's on whichever side." He nodded. "Am I on your side?" A smile played on his lips. "No you just sit in the crowd on the side my family will be on," he gasped making me laugh. "How dare you." He removed his hand from my knee. "I'm kidding I'm kidding." I laughed. "Yes your on my side." He smiled as we pulled into the parking lot. "Oh and dress and tux shopping. When does that all happen?" I face palmed myself. "Two days remember." He smiled weakly. "Even Nate remembers." I whined. "You will be there or else bad things will come your way." I got all up into his face. "Ok ok." I smiled sweetly. "Love ya," and with that I hopped out of his car walking towards our building. "Reynolds." They opened the door. I walked through to the stairs. I'm getting more and more used to using the stairs again. I got to our door and fumbled with my keys. Before I could put it into the key hole the door opened. He leaned down kissing my lightly. "Mm, hey baby," he pulled away. "Did you have fun with Sammy." I nodded. "What'd you want to show me." I asked as we walked into the apartment. "Oh," he lit up. "Wait right here." He ran into our room making me laugh. I set my stuff down sitting on the couch. He ran over to me with his laptop in his hands. "Look," he showed me a beautiful house with a pool in the backyard. It was spacious too. "So if we have kids there's space. And that way we won't have to move around all of the time." I stared in awe at the picture on the screen. "What do you think," he looked at me. "It's perfect." I wrapped my arm around his. "Want it." I looked at him. "Only if you do," he looked down at me. "Let's get it." For the size of the house and everything it was really cheap. We checked everything out. He held my hand pressing the buy button on the website. A message appeared. "You have now purchased this house. Here is your address." Shawn read from the website. I squeezed his arm. "We can go for a tour tomorrow and if we don't like it we don't have to take it." He closed his computer. I smiled. "Have you finished the wedding plans yet." I kissed right underneath his jaw bone. "I have finished planning everything and the wedding is gonna be on the 10th," I kissed his cheek. "Tell me about what you have planned then." He shook his head. "Nope," he shook his head. "Please." He shook his head. "At least tell me where," he sighed. "I will tell you that it's gonna be nice," he kissed my nose. I just nodded. I put my head on his shoulder. "You tired baby." He rubbed his hand up and down my arm. "No," I cuddled further into him. "Yeah you are." He laughed. "No," I yawned. "Common baby. We have to go check out that house tomorrow at noon." I nodded into his chest. "Go to sleep." He kissed my head. I nodded standing up. He stood following me. "We just bought a house." I laughed a little. "And we haven't even looked at any other possible houses." His arms wrapped around me and tugged at my shirt. He pulled it off before putting one of his shirts on me. He then took off my jeans. Soon after stripping himself just staying in his boxers. I crawled underneath the blankets and he laid behind me. He held my small body close to his kissing the skin below my ear. "Good night love," he mumbled. "Goodnight baby," I closed my eyes.
