For Now

Breezy's POV

I woke up to the sound of feet shuffling across the floor, looking up and smiling at Bing as I watched him slide on a shirt from behind.

"Morning Bing," I said stretching out my arms. I winced slightly as I stretched my legs, a slight pain running through the tender muscles before I pulled the blanket to my chest and swung my legs over the edge of the bed, Bing helping me up before standing back and smiling at me.

I pulled the blanket tightly around me before I decided on the once thing I needed.

A shower

I grabbed everything i would need as I saw Bing run ahead of me to the bathroom to open the door, predicting my decision.

After I finished my shower, Bing was waiting outside the door and he lead me back into bed, grabbing me by the waist and dragging me down with him into a hug, causing me to squeak in surprise as he nuzzled his face into the base of my neck.

"I love you," Bing breathed against my neck, causing me to shiver. "I love you too," I replied quickly, nuzzling further under the blankets.

We soon heard a knock at our door, announcing breakfast was ready as we got up and headed to the kitchen.

The sight before us was almost surreal. There were smiles on everyone's faces, large stacks of pancakes smothered in syrup, and if you looked at the scene real hard, we almost looked like a family.

I took the moment to absorb the serenity of the room before I turned to Bing with a smile. "We're going to be okay."

And we were okay

At least, for the time being
