Grayson just stared at the papers. Disbelief was written all across his face. "These are... I have no words." He said, rolling out the scroll that came with it. "What? What is it?" Mia asked.
"Bad. That's what." He replied. He continued reading the scroll.
"Oh.
Oh God." Grayson said.
"Is it really bad?" Armen asked, sitting down with Grayson.
"They... They're..." He said.
"What?" Mia asked, holding his hand tightly.
"It's just... bad. I'm not going to let you see it." He said, closing it up. "Why?.
"You don't want to see it, Mia. Trust me." He said darkly.
There was slience.
Relly was the first to speak. "We should go back to the house. It's getting dark.".
"Alright." Grayson mumbled, putting the papers and scroll in his bag, and standing up. They began heading back.
~ A little later ~
"Hey Grayson, can I talk to you a minute?" Armen said, catching up to him. "What is it?" he replied.
"We gonna have to tell Mia." He said. "What? Abo-" "I could see the scroll you were reading. The Red Keep was that place I blew up the tower-thing, right?" Armen said, "She has a right to know, Grayson..."
"I know... I just, don't know how to tell her." he replied.
"When we get back, can I propely see the papers?" Armen asked. "Urm, okay. Just don't let Mia see them."
~ A few months ago, at the Emperor's study, in The City's Castle ~
"I don't know, should I, should I open it?" The first elven-maid said. "Well we were sent to tidy." The second one chopsily replied. "If you don't, I'll have a look." The second one climbed up onto the desk, and reached for a small wooden scroll. "This looks like something straight out a fairytale." She said, opening it.
"Well what's inside?" This first girl asked.
There was no reply.
"Zella? Are you alright?" She asked her friend sat upon the desk.
"What?..." She whispered, opening out the scroll so it was flat. "Zella? What does it say?" The first girl asked again. "Read it Questian" Zella said, shoving it at her co-maid.
It read of something that sounded like the very definition of hell.
