Chapter 9 (Ellen's Party)

Today is my best friend's birthday, actually, she is more like a sister to me. Ellen turned 28 years old on this very day. Troy and I were heading to her house where the party is to be held.

We arrived, and the house was full of guests, most of them were her bandmates, famous singers, and some musically inclined people. Ellen is a famous country singer and composer. So as expected, it was a party flooded with music, songs, beats, and huge speakers. "Happy 28th birthday Ellen!", we greeted her. "Oh! thank you please do not say my age again, it is really shameful. haha!", she replied. " By the way, this is Rick, Rick Hans, my boyfriend! I met him the other day during the concert I attended", she whispered.

"Nice meeting you Rick! Finally, you found your match besty!" Angel

"Glad to meet you, Man! " Troy

"He's cute, isn't he? he sings well too. Hubby, why don't you show them your talent? On stage, will you? Please, for me?" Ellen

"Sure. (went up on stage) This song is for my wifey! Happy birthday! I love you!" Rick

Maybe I annoy you with my choices

"You must be hungry guys, I'll go get some food and drinks for us." Ellen

She walked away from us and went towards the kitchen.

"Hi, Ellen! Happy birthday! (handed Ellen a gift) For you by the way. Have you seen my girlfriend, Angel?" Sam

"Sam... You are here?" Ellen

"Yes, I came back for Angel of course. I bet Angel did not tell you. That's shocking to know. Since when did she become so secretive?" Sam

"ahmm, she might just be too busy with her business. You know, my friend is really a workaholic." Ellen

"Where is she?" Sam

"Ah! Why don't you help me serve the foods first?" Ellen

"That would be fine. Sure. I'll help." Sam

"Sam is here", Ellen texted me, so I told Troy.

" It's time." Troy

"Are you sure?" Angel

"Yes, I will tell him myself. Don't worry. (we held hands together) I love you, Angel!" Troy

" I Love you too." Angel

Ellen and Sam were approaching. I got nervous, honestly, more and more nervous. I did not dream of a confrontation like this existing. Not even at my best friend's birthday party.

"This is a great reunion!" Ellen

"Definitely! reunited with my girlfriend, my childhood best friend, and the birthday girl Ellen, after long long years of separation. The important people in my life are all here, I could not ask for more." Sam

"Sam, we need to talk." Troy

We were all standing in the middle of guests partying at the pool. When...

"Ssshhhh...ur...ee... (slurred speech)" Sam

Bang............. a loud noise caught our ears. It was two forces collided.

Sam suddenly collapsed to the ground.

We rushed him immediately to the hospital.
