Daichi x Suga~ Mother's day Surprise.

It had started out as a normal day at Karasuno. It was mother's day and Sugawara was still planning on what he would do for his mother. Already, he had set out on the table a small card with a 'thank you' note on it along with breakfast, but that didn't satisfy him. After all, his mom had to take care of 8 children.

The grey-haired male had finally come up with what he was going to do; bake her favourite kind of cake! What would be better to do than bake her favourite dessert? He continued his walk through the hallways, making his way towards the volleyball club. He was a bit more confident as he was planning out how to do it and how he would make sure to keep her busy until the cake was done, though his train of thought was quickly disrupted when he got into the large gym.

It was oddly silent, but then again it wasn't the first time he had shown up first. Daichi must've forgotten to lock the door again, seeing as it was open. He shook it off and entered, flicking on the lights but instantly regretted it as he saw his team mates staring right at him with large smiles, that was except for Tsukki and Tobio, but they managed a small smile.

"HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!" All their loud voices echoed in the wide gym as they held out individual gifts for Sugawara. He was completely stunned, and embarrassed at the same time.

'Happy... Mother's day? W-..what?!' He thought to himself, his fists balling up. He found the whole scene extremely adorable, after all he was called 'mom' a few times from the club members. He sighed and put on a nervous smile.

"You guys..." Sugawara rubbed the back of his neck, but not before long he was bombarded with tight hugs from the third, second and first years. "C...Can't breath...!" Once his voice was heard, they instantly stopped hugging him and set his gifts, that were mostly flowers or pictures of him and others together.

He couldn't help but blush at the thought of doing this for him, "Thank you... All of you, this is, extremely funny but at the same time, really sweet!"

"It was Daichi's idea!" Tanaka suddenly spoke up, grinning to the fullest.

"Huh? Daichi...?" Sugawara turned towards the brunette who was looking away, blushing faintly, "That's sweet of you, Daichi-san~" Suga went over to the blushing male and wrapped his arms around his torso, hugging him tightly.

"I didn't think it'd actually work out, it took me a while to convince a certain blocker and setter into participating," Daichi said, his voice overlapped by a small chuckle as he returned the hug. These small actions were normal for the two friends as they knew each other for a while.

The team watched in awe as the two held each other. Without noticing, the club members had left snickering, leaving Daichi and Sugawara alone in the large gym.

"Eh...? So... No practice then?" Suga looked up from their embrace, looking around the gym to see nothing but Daichi and a bunch of gifts in one corner.

"It seems that way," Daichi said quietly, not being able to take his eyes off the shorter male. Sugawara looked up to meet his gaze and tilted his head.

"What is it?" Suga questioned the other.

"I... Might have told them to leave right after also," Daichi muttered, though Suga picked up on what he said.

"Hmm? Why's that?" What Daichi had said picked his curiosity, making him unsatisfied.

"So I can do this," Daichi whispered and leaned down, pressing his lips gently to the others, giving Suga the option to turn back as it wasn't forced. But that's the opposite of what happened. Sugawara was shocked at first, but that didn't stop the other from slowly wrapping his arms around the taller male's neck, pulling him down and kissing him back.

Their lips, perfectly in sync, gradually became heated as well as their kiss. Daichi had Suga up against the wall, Sugawara's legs wrapped around Daichi's hips, his fingers tangled in Daichi's hair. Soon enough, their lungs burned for air, forcing them to separate in small pants.

Their foreheads resting against one another's, each other gazing lovingly into one another's eyes. "Hey... Daichi?"

The other hummed in response.

"Are we... A thing now?" Sugawara looked up at him hopefully, Daichi grinning.

"Hmm, well... Sugawara, would you like to be my boyfriend?"

Sugawara blinked before smiling in return, "why yes, Daichi~ I would love to be your boyfriend~" he placed a chaste kiss on the other's lips followed by a wink.

Extended Ending:

Daichi and Sugawara walked out, hand in hand to be met with all the club members with their ears pressed against the door, some falling forwards.

"I would've never guess," Daichi clicked his tongue, Sugawara just smiling and laughing lightly beside him.
