You were whimpering under your coat's embrace, gliding your aching feet across the pavement with your hands hovering the air, trying to find something to support it.

What happened was something you didn't want to remember, as the monster nearly killed you, the anger he aims at you with a brick; the man you thought you loved was a maniac.

He was the one who dragged you out off your house, playing cat and mouse, now leaving you stranded somewhere unknown in a forest with nothing to survive with.

You felt death reaching you.

As thoughts continued to race through your brain, a figure stood a couple miles away, his fingers fiddling on a phone, and his red hair swept as the cold wind blows gently.

It was a stranger.

Someone you reconised.

"ayato-kun" You whispered, watching him look up and looked the opposite way of your direction.

Concern.

Worried.

Something you realized he might be looking for someone.

You.

obviously you, you did sent him a message. A message for help.

"ayato-kun."

he waited for you.

"ayato..kun."

He stood there, looking for you.

"a..yato..kun?"

he was the only one there for you,no one else.

"ayato-kun!"

This time, the hearing of your muffled voice echoed through him, and his head jerks towards you as you set off running towards him.

"(Y/N)?"

His foot found itself running to you,his arms slightly open as you throw yourself into him, sinking in with tears and rage, sinking in deeply with the love of his embrace.

"I told you so.." He whispered through your hair, the vampire's finger grasping it too roughly that you let out a wince.

"I told you that you shouldn't have gone and you didn't listen, you BAKA!"

You continued crying, nodding your head in understandment and tightly pulled him closer, feeling like you couldn't let go of him at all.

Safe.

Safe was the only word you can describe his hug.

Safe was the only thing you thought of as he sunk his fangs in your neck hungrily, allowing you to fall asleep as he take you back home.
