Closure

103 23 11

Warm coffee and cream hearts,
Served with smeared ink and tissue paper goodbyes,
Freeze my mind and winter sighs.

Waiting alone
For closure to come
But it seems so out of sight.

Wrap your coat tighter,
Don't waste your tears on trampled snow.
Let them keep the change and your unanswered questions;
Maybe one day time will tell you why.
