I tied my hair back into a pony tail and tied my apron around my waist. The small bell above the door chimed and I walked over to the counter.
"Welcome to Lovely Dough, how may I assist you?"
I looked up from the cash register and I smiled at the guy standing across from me.
"I would like to place an order."
"Of course, I'll let you look around. Tell if you need anything."
He nodded and ran a hand through his blueish hair. I walked into the kitchen and started up the oven to make a cake. I hummed a couple songs I knew as I made the sheet cakes.
"Honey is for bee's silly bear."
I sang Lullaby by Fall Out Boy lightly as I put the sheet cakes into the oven. Once I put them in I walked over to the radio and I turned it on. Victorious by Panic! At The Disco played and I walked out to the front counter. I jumped over it and I started cleaning some tables and I danced a little.
"Wow."
I froze and turned around to see the guy.
"What can I help you with?"
"I need a birthday cake."
I nodded leaving the table and jumping over the counter again.
"What flavor? Vanilla, chocolate,
Cookies and cream?"
"Red velvet."
"And the filling?"
"Strawberries."
"What do you want the cake to look like?"
"The keys on a piano."
"Oh cool. Do you what a message written on it?"
"Happy Birthday Tyler."
"Anything else?"
"Under that can you put 'yah old nugget'?"
"Haha yes of course. By when do you need it?"
"Next week Tuesday."
"Okay. I'm going to need your number."
He wrote his number down and I put his order away.
"Anything else?"
"Can I get some cookies?"
"Yeah, hold on I have to check on my cake."
The attractive guy nodded and I went to check on the cake. It was almost done so I turned the heat down. I grabbed a box and a glove for his cookies then walked back out.
"So what kind would you like?"
"Chocolate chip please."
He gave me a cheesy grin and I chuckled at him. I filled the box up with a bakers dozen and walked back to the register.
"How much?"
"On the house."
"No, I can pay."
"I know, but its still on the house."
"Okay well at least let me take you out to repay you."
"Haha, sure. When?"
"What are you doing later today?"
"I have a volleyball game, but I'm free tomorrow."
"Let me get your number."
I nodded and wrote my number on the palm of his hand. He smiled at me once again and I handed him his cookies.
"See you."
"Bye."
"Stay street."
He stopped in his tracks and turned around to look at me. He put his box of cookies down and walked over to me.
"I'm Josh Dun"
"I'm-"
I wasn't able to finish because he pulled me in for a kiss. I responded almost  immediately and wrapped my arms around his neck bringing him closer. We broke from the kiss with heavy breaths and I smiled.
"(Y/N) (L/N). Pleasure to meet you Josh."
He chuckled and walked out the door with his cookies in hand.

"Welcome to-"
I looked up and stopped talking when I saw Josh.
"You know, I almost didn't come to work today because you kept me up almost all night."
"Well if it makes you feel any better I didn't sleep at all."
"Oh god, why?"
"I couldn't stop thinking about you."
"Stop, you're giving me a toothache."
Josh looked at me confused and I giggled.
"Means I think your sweet."
"Oh. Now I get it."
He blushed and handed me a five.
"One chocolate chip cookie please."
I nodded and grabbed him a cookie. I handed it to him along with his change and then Alyssa walked in.
"Hey girl!"
"Hey, you can clock out."
"My shifts not over until six though."
Alyssa looked at Josh then at me and she pulled me into the kitchen.
"You have a nice piece of ass waiting for a date with you. Clock out and I'll cover your shift or I'll do him myself."
I chuckled at her and nodded. I got cleaned up and walked to see Josh still there.
"So how about that date now?"
"Sure, where are we going?"
"We're going to the skate park."
"Sick. You skate?"
"Yeah, I like to in my free time. You?"
"Love it. Been skating since I started to walk."
"What do you do with your free time? Aside from bake and skate, of course."
"Photography, volleyball, drums, and soccer."
"You're a drummer?"
"Somewhat."
"Me too."
"Cool, you in a band?"
"Yeah, we still haven't taken off yet."
"I'm sure you'll be playing huge arenas."
"Sold out concerts and crowds cheering for us."
"What the name?"
"Twenty One Pilots."
"I'll remember that."
Josh smiled at me and I smiled back at him. We stopped at the cross walk since the light was red. My hand slowly found its way to his and our smiles grew.
"You're beautiful."
We said at the same time. We laughed and crossed to the other side of the street.
"We have a concert tomorrow. You should come."
"Definitely. Meet your band mates."
"Mate."
"It's just two of you?"
"Haha yeah."
"Wow, you guys must be amazing."
"We try."
The smile I had on my face wouldn't leave and I sighed I'm happiness.
"I'm so glad you needed a cake."
"Can I tell you a secret?"
"Sure."
"I only made that order because I was to shy to speak to you."
"What?"
"I didn't know how to talk to you so I called up my friends mom and told her I was on cake duty."
"A stud like you shy?"
"To talk to a gorgeous woman like you? Yeah."
"Well, your kiss says other wise."
"Really? Come to think of it I don't really remember what it went like..."
"Well, something like this."
I slid my hands over his chest and latched them on to his neck.
"And then this."
His hands wrapped around my waist and I brought my face closer to his.
"Then we finished it off with a spark."
Our lips touched and mine tingled. My left leg popped up and I giggled into the kiss.
"You are adorable."
