chapter 8- The makeover

Sandra's POV

I ran to Belinda when I saw her and grabbed her by the hand

Hey said Belinda

So you ready for your makeover tomorrow

Yeah am so excited said Belinda I have never done a makeover

That explains so much I said playfully

Hahaha we laughed in unison

But won't this ruin your reputation ? Asked Belinda worried

Don't worry I don't really care like little princess Emily

Hahaha yeah I still hate that girl and Betty how could they do something so harsh ? Belinda asked

That's high school for you where people can make or break you I said

Yeah maybe you are right thanks said Belinda

Okay bye got to run am almost late for art class I said

I got to Mrs Jones class a bit late

Sorry am late

Sit down and draw an abstract drawing about life said Mrs Jones

Okay I drew a picture of someone's mind filled with thoughts which goes on in our everyday life

Mrs Jones liked my work so she gave me an A+

The bell finally rang for lunch because I was starving

I bought some food and spotted Belinda sitting alone in a corner of the cafeteria .

I walked up to her and sat down on an empty seat

Hey said Belinda

Hi so how was class today

It was really bad when I walked in people were still laughing like it has been a week Said Belinda frustrated

Don't worry when they see the new and improved Belinda they will begin to laugh at themselves I said

Yeah Said Belinda

And I noticed some people were looking at me and Belinda and I understood it like why would a popular girl want to seat with a nobody like Belinda but I ignored the look

Then the bell rang

Belinda said bye and went out of the cafeteria

Belinda's POV

I walked to the cafeteria to the bathroom and saw Betty there

Hey you dimwit stay away from my sister and don't you try to ruin her reputation in this school you hear me! Said Betty annoyed

She is your sister? I asked surprised

Yeah and you better stay away said Betty

I went out of the bathroom to class

The bell rang for class and that was the end of class for school thank God

I went to my locker and grabbed my stuff

I went to the parking lot walking until I got to hear a car horn and it was Sandra

Get in said Sandra

Thanks said Sandra

We didn't really talk until I broke the silence

Hey I didn't know Betty was your sister I said

O yeah I didn't really want to tell you because you know

Yeah I said

I got home

Bye thanks for the ride see you tomorrow

Bye I will come pick you up 12:00 PM said Sandra

Mum am home! I yelled

Hey darling how was school my mum asked

It was okay I said

I ran to my room my room to take a shower and ate dinner and watched a movie hunger games

It was already 12:00 am and I went to bed

Saturday

I woke up at 9:00 am and took a shower and dressed up , my dad was out of town ,my mum went to the supermarket so I was alone at home ,so I made breakfast myself egg and bacon

Someone knocked on the door and I knew it was Sandra so I opened the door and locked it behind me.

Hey ready she asked

Yeah I said

We entered the car and it took us only 20 minutes to get to the mall

So what should we do first

I think look for some nice clothes I said

Okay she said

We bought so many clothes and shoes we had to bring it into the car

We went to the salon and I have never seen my blonde hair so beautiful and then we painted our nails I painted mine pink my favorite colour and Sandra painted hers yellow
