Amanda's POV
I turned in my bed to hold Derek but my hand was pulled back by something. A open my eyes and jumped up at a fast speed that the thing around my wrist started to burn my skin. I looked down at it and realized it was a handcuff made of silver.
"You're awake"
I snapped my head up and saw Kyle. The beta of my past past pack
"Why am I here?" I sneered
"Feisty" he commented with a smirk
"Let me out" I commanded. I am the Luna queen after all.
"I'm sorry your highness but with the silver in your system you are not able to command anyone." He said with a smile I so want to scratch off his face slowly and painfully
"Sit back and relax Amanda"
"Derek will come for me and when he does you'll be sorry you were ever born!" I spat
"That's why you're here dear Amanda. You're the bait and when your Prince Charming comes for you.....we'll be ready." He told me
"What do you want from us?" I asked feeling weak. The silver is draining my energy quickly
"Who said we want anything from you? We just want Derek out of the way so we can take what we truly want"
"What is...what is that?" I mumbled feeling sleep taking over my body
"Our future alpha of course....your nephew. Sleep tight Amanda and don't let the bed bugs bite"

"What did you mean you can't find her?!!" I roared
"We found no scent your highness...."
"Get out my sight" I growled
How could I have been so stupid. If I was giving all my attention to Amanda maybe she would be here today in my arms. I will never forgive myself for this. I am a failure as a mate.
"Derek you can't keep doing this to your self. Amanda's disappearance is not your fault"
"Oh but it is mom"
"We'll find her Derek, just wait and you'll see"
"I bet it was that Drake who's behind all this. He was the one who declared war. Just wait until I get my hands on him. I make him suffer for taking what's mine"
"Calm down Derek"
"Your highness we've got a lead" Joshua said. Who's Joshua you ask. He's my best tracker and the one who's gonna help me get back my mate.
