Drunken mistake

You were at home with your two little angles, Sophie and Jake. Yours and Niall's children, Sophie was 5 while Jake was 3. Today Niall went out with the boys to a club to celebrate God knows what. He's been going out much more lately and comes home absolutely wasted. Hopefully, the kids didn't know that their dad went out and got absolutely wasted. Today Sophie asked why daddy was out every day and not spend time with her. That made your heart broke you can't tell them, can you?

Today you planned on talking with Niall about it. It was 10 pm and you've already sent the kids to bed. It was 1 and Niall still hasn't come. As you were watching some gossip on the TV the door slammed open revelling your husband, Niall. "What are you doing up late?" He growled "waiting for my husband to get home," you said as it was the most obvious thing ever. "Niall we need to talk," you said as he was going upstairs. He turned around walking and standing in front of you. "You need to stop going out so much and getting drunk out of your mind! Today Sophie asked why aren't you not home to spend time with her, and I didn't have an answer!" You slightly yelled since the kids where sleeping. "You don't tell me what to do! You aren't my mum (y/n)!" He yelled. "I'm not telling you what to do or not. I'm just telling you to spend some time with us more often." You said not trying to yell.

 "I don't care about you or the kids! I don't even know why I married you"   he yelled. That was the last thing you wanna hear.

"Daddy? You don't care about me? You don't love me anymore" Sophie said running towards you crying. You didn't know Sophie was standing there, and you never want your kids to see you and Niall arguing. "Let's go to bed, yeah?" you asked, she nodded looking at Niall who was shocked.  You picked Sophie up and went to her room. "mommy do daddy really hate me?" Sophie asked looking up with her bright blue eyes. "no he, in fact, loves you and your brother the most" you smiled, she nodded giving you a kiss and closing her eyes. 

after about 5 minutes later when she was finally asleep you went out closing the door. You came to the living room not spotting Niall. He probably went to bed not caring about any of this. you sat there repeating his words 'I don't care about you or the kids! I don't even know why I married you' did he really not care anymore? did he really regret marrying me?. As you were sitting on the couch silent tears coming out of your eyes you didn't notice Niall coming and sitting beside you.

 "I'm sorry," he said making you jump a little. "do you really regret marrying me?" you asked, "no! never. I don't regret anything I've done with you. Anything" he said. "then why'd you say?" you asked,"I don't know what was going around my head that time. Baby, I love you I love you so much. I would never anything that will hurt you. You know I was drunk, and that was my mistake. I'm so sorry princess, forgive me?'' he said. By the way he looked you can tell he was crying because his eyes were all red and puffy. And you can tell Niall was telling you the truth, 'cause he'd never do anything that'd hurt you he loves you way too much. You look at him for a while before engulfing his in a big hug. " I love you" he whispered " I love you too" you said back.
