The warm sun shining on our face
Making memories that we can never replace
The sea breeze blowing through our hair
Letting go of every worry or care
Taking in the beautiful view
Scouting out what places are new
Talking about everything on our minds
And all of our different shopping finds
The seagulls flying high above
Reminding us of this beach love
Wanting to stay here forever and ever
Enjoying our perfect beachy weather
Haven’t felt so relaxed in a long while
Haven’t felt on my face such a genuine smile
Feeling the ocean breeze and sand between my toes
Washing away all of my worries and woes
Wish I could stay out here
And never shed another tear
Enjoying the smell of the salty air
Feeling the sea breeze in my hair
Soaking up the warmth from the sun
Wanting this moment to never be done
Feeling so lightweight and happy-hearted
Taking me back to where I started
Out from under the dark clouds of this storm
Sun comes shining in making me feel all warm
How much happier could I be
Nowhere else but by the sea.
