Words travel with celerity
Uncontrolled
Unaware are those who are victims
Those who will be hurt
The whispers in the silent halls
The screams in the dark nights
The light may travel faster
But words travel right behind
Beware of the potions you spill from you lips
Are they made of smoke
or are they made of flames
Are they made of venom
Or of sweet wine
We are warned of the thorns within the vines
We are cautious of others but not ourselves
Watch you tongue
for what it does can be disastrous
Mix your words with kindness
Use vodka if you must
But never use poison
Nor guns or fire
Speak with a gentle heart
And use tones of a harp
