Time is a bandit
He steals our most precious moments
Time is selfish
He manipulates the world to do what he wants
Time is undefeated
He sees us when we're working
Lurking
Smirking
Finally learning that we're his puppets
Time is manipulative
He knows we can't choose where and when
He's going strike us again and again
With a 'click' of the hands and a 'tick' of the clock
Is when we know our time is up
