It repeated throughout primary school when my friends started getting these so-called 'crushes' and making me ask people out for them.
I did it reluctantly. I never understood why they wanted to hold hands with someone. I tuned out of conversations when they declared how much they loved so-and-so. A week later they would be holding hands with someone else. I was so confused. My friends started asking if I liked anyone. "No, I don't." I told them. They said it wasn't true.
