Sadness lingers around me
it's my best friend
like the sun rises in the morning
it greets me when I wake up
It touches me, with it's emotions
it tells me that our lives are filled with sorrow
we are human and we can't do anything about it
I wake up every day just to go to bed later at midnight
It whispers the dreams I once had
it asks me "do you still believe in them"
I say "do you think I'm brave enough to?"
like the sun sets in the evening
it leaves me with so many questions
Then just before I go to bed
Hope comes along
I guess hope is my soul mate
we don't know each other very much yet
maybe one day he can pay me a visit in the day time
After all a soul mate knows better than a best friend...
