The first day

It was the first day at my new school. It wasn't just a new school it was a new and foreign land on a new and foreign land. I walked in to the school wearing a uniform which didn't bother me since I went to private schools before and we had to wear uniforms. It was called a college which I didn't get in the states you didn't go to college till you were 18. They also called the grades by years such as I was in year 10. Back in the states I would of been a sophomore in high school. I walked into my first class and I sat down avoiding any eye contact I didn't want to talk to anyone right now. Sadly someone came up to me and said hi I'm Calum. And I said hi. He said do you have a name as well. Oh I said my name is Jules. Woah he said are you from the states. Uhhhh yeah I said. That's awesome he said what the hell brings you to Australia then ? Oh um me and my dad moved here for a his job. Oh he said well I'm Calum. I said you gotta last name Calum? Oh it's Hood. Hood ? I asked. Yeah he said what's yours. Scott I said. Juliet Scott ehh? Jules I said. But your full name is Juliet right he asked. Yea ..... I said but I prefer Jules. Ok Juliet he said and walked off. I rolled my eyes and turned back around but turned to my right when someone tapped on my shoulder. It was a blonde boy with bright blue eyes. He said don't listen to him he and his best friends and douce bags. Noted I said and laughed. He said I'm Luke by the way. Jules nice to meet you you to. So you moved here from the states huh? Yeah sadly. He laughed and said yeah I wouldn't wasn't to move here either. Where did you move here from?? Kansas City. Oh he said. You have no idea where that is do you?? uhhh no I don't. Well it on the borderline of Kansas and Missouri I used to live in SanFranciso. Oh he says I know where that is. Yeah I said most people do. Have you ever heard of the baseball team the Royals or the football team the Chiefs. There a football team called the Chiefs he asked ?? Never heard of them. Oh no not the soccer kind of football the other kind. Oh he said guess I should of known that you being American and all. Yeah you should've c'mon I said jokingly. And he laughed. The. The teacher came In and said hi class. And she looked at her desk and said ahhh we have a new student. Juliet can you please stand up. Uhhh sure I said and I stood up. She said tell us three things about your self Juliet. Ok I said well I prefer to be called Jules. I moved here from the states and I play volleyball, basketball and track. And i sat back down thank you Jules. Yeah I said quietly putting my head down. Now today all I have is a slyabus for both of your parents to sign. Both of them need to to sign it. Shit I thought. Aw well I'll just have my dad sign it and  I'll explain to her later that I only have one parent I dont want everyone to know about my past. Oh and would someone be willing to show Jules around the school a few people held up there hands including Luke and Calum. Luke why don't you do it. Ok he said. And I turned and smiled at him and mouthed thank you. And he just smiled back. I could already tell we would be good friends. After class we looked at our schedules and found out we had the same schedule . So we went to all of classes and ate lunch together and everything. And then after school I had volleyball tryouts there was a lot of competition but I was good and by the end when we found out our teams I made varsity I was the only sophomore on varsity everyone else was either a senior or junior. My first week went by smoothly and everything after that. Then it was well into basketball season and something big happend with me Luke Calum and the boy I knew as Michael
