"Stop!" I screamed. I could smell his blood. He was so close... All I had to do was step forward and take a bite... And it was so fresh. It was pumping in his veins, made quicker from adrenaline, which made it even more desirable. But this was Draco. This was my boyfriend. I couldn't hurt him. "Please! Stay away from me! I don't want to hurt you."

"It's all going to be okay, Harry." He sounded calm but he wasn't. I could smell it.

"No it's not! I can smell you. It's torture, but I don't want to hurt you. Please, just run! Before it takes over."

"I can't, Harry. I have to make sure you're okay."

"I will be when you're safe." It was so rich. I could practically taste it in my mouth. I could see my fangs stained and his lifeless body drained of blood... I had to stop! "RUN DRACO!" I yelled. I felt a click. Something change.

I looked at the figure in front of me. A boy. I smell his blood, rich and strong. My mouth begins to water.

"Hello," I pur.

"H-Harry? It's me, it's Draco.

"Draco. What a beautiful name. Won't you stay for supper, Draco?"

"Harry snap out of it."

"Snap out of what?" My voice sounds like chocolate.

"Harry, please you're scaring me."

"I'm not scary! You don't have to be scared of me, little boy." Then something burst through. This was Draco! I loved him! I couldn't hurt him! "Draco, please run!"

"I can't, Harry." I began to cry, and he cried too. "I can't."

"I don't want to kill you."

"You won't. I know you... Harry?"

"Don't listen to him," I purred. "Stay here, stay with me. We'll have dinner, and get to know each other."

"You already know me, Harry."

"I do, do I? Maybe I can get to know you more." I lunged at him, forcing his head to the side.

"Harry stop!" he screamed. I brought my face to his neck. He smelled so good. Surely I could just have a sip...

I pushed my fangs through his skin. The sweet taste filled my mouth. I took a gulp, and then another.

I stood up, and shook off the vampire in me. There was a figure on the floor. A figure with gorgeous white blonde hair and pearly white skin. Oh god. No, please no.

"D-Draco?" I knelt down next to him. "What have I done? Draco please wake up." I shook him. "God, no!" I took him into my arms, burying my face in his chest. I only realised I was crying when I felt his shirt was soaked. But then I heard something. A heartbeat.

I stood up, and ran to the infirmary with him in my arms as fast as I could.

"Hello?" I yelled. "Someone please help me!" Madame Pomfrey came into view.

"What happened? Rest him on this bed, dear." I out him down on the closest bed.

"H-he was bitten. By a v-vampire."

"Okay, it's going to be alright, but he lost a lot of blood. I'm going to attach him to a muggle contraption, but we need someone with his blood type." (A/N sorry I don't really know how all this works but just pretend I'm getting it right)

"I-I think we have the s-same."

"Alright then, lie down here. You'll feel a small pinch." She took out a small needle, pushing it into a vein on my arm and extracting some blood. We was right, it didn't hurt that much but that could've been because I was focusing on Draco. "Okay, this should be enough." She then attached Draco to a machine that would give him more blood. He looked like hell. He was so pale, paler even than usual. His was gaunt, as though the life had been sucked out of him. It was almost, by me. Oh god, if anything happened to him I wouldn't be able to love with myself.

"You better be getting to your dorm room now."

"Can I stay here? Please? I just want to make sure he is alright." She gave me an unsure look, and I must have looked desperate because she sighed.

"Alright."

"Thank you." I sat down in the chair beside him. I took his hand in mine, leaning over to kiss his forehead once Madame Pomfrey had gone. "It's going to be okay," I whispered. "I'm so, so sorry Draco."

I didn't sleep that night. I watched him until the sun rose. I didn't go down to the hall to eat, or go to lessons. Hermione came up around midday, wondering where I was. Apparently Dean had been in with a broken arm and left just as we came in. I didn't even notice.

She stood beside me and placed her hand on my shoulder.

"It's going to be okay, Harry. He'll be okay."

"I told him to leave, I told him it wasn't safe but..." I trailed off, a tear trickling down my cheek.

She left sometime after that, and I spent the rest of the day in the same chair, watching Draco's shallow breaths.

I must have fallen asleep, because I woke up to something moving in front of me. Draco moving. His eyes shot open and met with mine. They truly were beautiful, a blue so light it was almost white, and a steely grey when the shadows fell on them.

"Harry?" He murmured.

"You're awake!" I lunged forward, enveloping him in a tight hug. "I thought you were gone," I mumbled into his neck. "I thought you were never coming back, and that it was my fault..."

"It's okay, Harry, I'm okay."

"Thank god."

A/N sorry I haven't updated in a while but here's a lovely long angsty chapter to make up for it! I don't have much inspiration, then when I do I don't have time, then when I have time I've forgotten it! Anyways, if you have any suggestions don't be afraid to comment!
