Thank you so much for all of the comments and this chapter is short because I'm typing on an iPad and I hate it. I'm so used to typing on my phone but it fell in a glass of sweet tea so I get a new one in three days and I'll write a super long chapter then but give me some ideas of what y'all want to see in the next chapter.

"Good morning," John Luke mumbles, eyes still halfway closed. I take his hand and lead him to his truck. I slide into the drivers seat and buckle up, waiting for the others to load up.
"Good morning. How do you feel?" I ask him and he leans his head back on the seat.
"Tired," he replies lazily.
"How? you slept on and off for a whole day." I explain. He opens his warm, brown eyes to look at me and I shiver.
"That's why. It was on and off last night. I kept waking up. I hate taking sleeping or numbing medicine." He grumbles before leaning back again. Reed and Cole slide into the back seat.
"What's up y'all?" Cole smiles at us. I bite my lip, remembering when I thought I liked him. Why would I ever think that? John Luke is the one for me. I'm sure of it.
"Tired," John Luke mumbles. Cole and Reed begin to laugh at that, just as Hunter and Sadie shoe up. Sadie slide in beside Cole in the back and Hunter slides in beside John Luke.
"Ready?" I ask them.
"Yep," they all reply in unison and I begin driving behind Willie's truck. John Luke's truck is bigger, louder, and smoother than mine. It drives easily without me having to slam on breaks hard to stop at a red light. I should probably fix that. The break pedal sticks most of the time.
I finally reach the big, white building with a giant, silver cross on the top. We all jump out of the car and I take the keys from the ignition. I take John Luke's hand and we walk up to the stairs. Daisy slides out of her car and makes her way towards Reed. My, or I guess I should say Sadie's, heels click as I walk up the stone steps to the large doors. An older man with grey hair and a charcoal grey suit on, hands me a thin booklet at the door and greets me with a warm smile.
"Good morning," he says and I smile back.
"Thank you, good morning," I say and walk up the aisles, sitting behind my dad and the Robertson crew. The kids squeeze into one church pew an I watch as others gather into the church building. Katherine and her friends show up, smirking once they see me. They are all dressed in different shades of pink and six inch heels. I look down at my outfit: white, knit lace Hi Low dress with a light brown belt around the waist, light brown, stitched, western cowgirl boots, and a long, silver, multi row cross necklace. I borrowed the dress and heeled boots from Sadie. Katherine and her friends have beautifully curled hair, pinned back in fancy hairstyles while mine is just straight and down from its ponytail. I avert my eyes and focus on Phil as he walks to the stage, carrying his bible and papers. He begins preceding to us and I nudge John Luke three hundred times so he doesn't fall asleep during his grandfathers speaking.

"That was a very nice service, Phil," I tell him as we all sit down. He smiles, I think, under his long beard and mustache.
"Thank you, Kaysie." He takes a seat beside Mis Kay. I sit between Sadie and John Luke. This table is huge, I guess it has to be considering how many people are seated. Me, John Luke, Daisy, Reed, Jase, Missy, Missy and Jase's little girls that i still have not learned the names of, Willie, Korie, my dad, Jessica, Jep, Jessica and Jep's kids, Miss Kay, Phil, Si, Cole, and the Sadie. That's how it goes around the table, counter clockwise.
I pick up my menu and scan the items.
"What are you getting?" I ask John Luke and he smiles at me.
"Can I have you?" he asks and I smile.
"You already have me," I whisper back. He places his hands on my cheeks and pulls my head forward. I hold my menu up to block our faces from the parents as my lips meet JLs. He makes a small noise and my cheeks heat. I pull away and his eyes open wide.
"Not at the breakfast table with our parents, JL." I scold with a smile. My cheeks are tomato red as I drop the menu and read the expressions of those in front of us. Willie smiles, Korie is shocked, Dad is shocked, Miss Kay is clapping, Phil is staring down at the menu, and Hunter is...angry? Oh no. He's protective. Don't do it brother. Don't do it.
"Hi, my name is Sarah as I'll he your server today what can I get ya?" A petite blonde haired girl dressed in the uniform shoes up with a bright white smile.
"I'll have a coffee and the All American Breakfast dish," Jase pipes up.
"I'll have the same," Willie says.
"Me too," my dad replies.
"Yeah, Jack. That's what I want." Si folds his menu and takes a sip from his tea. "I need a refill," he says and picks up his tea pitcher. Sarah laughs but looks to the next person to speak.
"Yeah I'll get that too," Phil says.
"Okay, so four All American Breakfasts," Sarah mutters as she scribbles it onto the paper.
"I want a coffee and the Sunrise Sampler Breakfast Plate," Korie says.
"Me too," Missy closes her menu as she speaks.
"Yeah I think I'll get that too," Miss Kay says.
"Yeah and me," Jessica pipes in.
"I want that too," Sadie holds up her hand. "But I want orange juice."
"Okay so that is eight coffees, one orange juice five Sunrise Plates and four All American breakfasts. What else can I get ya?"
"I'll have the Old Timers Breakfast," Reed says. "With orange juice."
"Yeah I want that too," Daisy says. "with orange juice." She smiles at Reed.
"I'll have the...Country Boy breakfast with orange juice," John Luke says beside me.
"Yeah I'll get that too," Hunter says.
"Yeah me too," Cole says.
"I want one chocolate chip pancake!" one of the little girls calls out.
"Me too!" all of the little girls call out. Sarah, the waitress, counts the girls and scribbles it down on the paper.
"Okay. I have four All American, five Sunrise Sampler, three Country Boy, five chocolate chip pancakes, eight coffees, and six orange juices. What do you girls want to drink?" Sarah asks.
"Milk," they all reply in unison. Sarah smiles.
"Good choice," she writes it down and then turns to me. "What about you sweetie?"
My eyes scurry over the menu as I try to pic something quickly.
"I'll have the Egg N' Cheese sliders with oranges and hot chocolate," I say.
"Aw I want a hot chocolate," John Luke says. Sarah fixes the order, reads it out and disappears once we approve.
"Well, what's the plan for the rest of the day?" Jase asks and no one utters a word. "That sounds so fun. I've got a better idea."
"Jase, we are not going hunting again today."
"Willie," Jase looks pointedly at his brother. "That's not, what I was gonna say. How about we go to Excalibur Family Fun Center?"
"Hey I'm down with that!" Si exclaims, holding his palm out towards Jase. Jase high fives Si and Phil sighs.
"Y'all know that's a place for kids," Phil mentions and Jase scoffs.
"Nah. Uh uh. It's a family fun center. Family. Not kids." Si points out and Jase nods.
"Yeah. How bout it?" Jase rubs his hands together excitedly. "Kids?"
"I'm cool with it," Cole shrugs. Reed nods.
"Me too," he says.
"It's fine with me," John Luke speaks up. Sadie and I nod in agreement. Daisy smiles, too, showing that she is okay with it.
"Yes, please? Please?" The little girls squeal.
"Fine, we'll go," Willie sighs.
"Yeah. We will go change first though right? I don't really want to walk around a park in a suit," Jep says. We all laugh just as Sarah and two other waiters bring large platters of food on them.
"Oh yeah!"
