dan howell is a good boy, loves school, and loves people. one day, dan discovers that high school really isn't that easy, but he loves it.

Dans feet hit the floor with a thump as he gets out of bed to turn his alarm off.
he's happy because today is his first day of high school!
he runs downstairs and greets his mom with a hug and a kiss.
Dans dad left him when he was 4, but he doesn't have much memory of him, but that's okay.
Dan eats his cereal, his favorite, shreddies.
he goes upstairs, gets dressed, and heads out the door.
he walks to school, which is very fun for him.
as he reaches the school grounds, he smiles.
he sees one of his great friends, pj. Peej for fun.
he runs over towards him. "hi peej!"
"hi Dan!"
they give each other a hug, and talk about their summer.
"I went on a plane to Hawaii!"
"that's so cool pj!"
then Dan spots another one of his friends, coll.
coll was so cool. she had her own YouTube channel named colliscool.
being completely honest, Dan fancied her a bit.
she ran over to Dan.
"hey Dan! how did your summer go?"
"great! how did yours go?"
"great!"
they hugged eachother and Phil spotted a boy,
one he'd never seen before.
little did he know, this boy would turn his world upside down.
