Entering the house it was quiet, "Your Aunt and Uncle's went out with your cousins." My aunt said locking the door. "Ok, I'll be upstairs if you need me." "I'll just call you when the food is ready." Going upstairs I put my phone in its charger then went to the kitchen. "I'm going for a quick walk." "Ok, you have your phone." My aunt asked. "No, it's charging, but I'm not going far." "Ok, be quick." Exiting through the back sliding door in the kitchen. I started towards the back path behind our shed, humming along to a jingle I had heard on the radio. Finding the familiar path I made my way through a flower wall garden, arriving at my destination I climbed the steps unlocking the door and closing it after me.

I took a breath of the smell of pine sol on the wood and a lavender and jasmine aroma. I went upstairs to my room that had a couch, coffee table and white comforters with a folded white curtain like thing hanging over my bed. Throwing myself onto the bed I groaned in pain forgetting about my broken arm. Rolling over I looked at the curtain.
*Flashback*
Following my mom up the stairs we opened the door to the empty room.
"You're lucky your uncle is allowing you and your sister to have this tree house. I mean this house shouldn't even be considered a tree house it's like another mansion."
I giggled and moved aside to let the movers place a couch down against the wall. Then leaving to get more stuff, I looked at my mom who was looking outside the window.
"Mom can I paint the wall myself?"
"You want to all by yourself?"
I could tell she was uncertain about the whole idea so I had to beg her of course.
"Can your sister at least help you?
"Mom please, I want to do this on my own." Putting my hands together.
"I'll think about it but let's at least finish setting everything up."
Nodding my head we left the room to see my sisters room which was already set up.
"Wow Anna-Beth it looks great in here."
"Oh I know." She said flashing her purple braces at me and my mom.
"Girls I'm going to checkout the rest of the house, call me when you're done Jenna."
"Ok mom." My sister and I said in sync.
For a hour we talked about how happy we were that our uncle let us build the tree house, and what we were going to do with it.
"I'm going to find mom to finish my room."
"Ok."
Skipping out of the room I yelled out to my mom over the banister that I was ready. Going into my room I looked at my empty bed.
When my mom came upstairs she had some white blanket like thing.
"What's that mom?"
"It's something my mom got from her grandmother."
"Well then I love it."
"Let's get this room ready."
*Flashback ended*
Getting off my bed I walked to my sisters room. It looked exactly the same as 5 years ago, everything was in the same order she had left it. Sighing I went over to her case of home films and picked out the last Christmas we all spent together. Leaving her room and closing the door I went into our movie room we remodeled 3 years after getting the house.
