After changing into something comfortable you stumbled downstairs holding your head because of the pain
"Good morning sunshine" Desmond said which you responded with a groan
You went into the kitchen to get coffee. As you were making your cup Edward walked in and you heard him chuckle to himself.
You glanced over at him and made unexpected eye contact then looked back at your cup.
"Good morning to you too" Edward stated and you smiled lightly
"Sorry about... last night" you said and he laughed
"It's alright lass, alcohol makes people do unusual things. I've had my fair shares" he replied
"Oh I know, and this wouldn't be the first time I did something odd."
"You talking about when we swam naked in the pool?" He asked and you nodded you head in agreement and you both laughed
You took your coffee into the living room finding only Desmond there
"Where is everyone?" You asked sitting in the recliner when your phone rang. You went to get up but Edward stopped you by picking up the phone
"Hello?" He said and made a questioning look "no, you can't talk to her"
"Edward who is that?" You questioned
"(Bf/n) " he replied
"Lemme have the phone" you said and held your hand out.
He walked over and handed you the phone.
"Hey" you said and she immediately starts talking
Edward pushed you over sitting in the chair with you.
Your bestie stated over the phone
"my cousin is having a ball for her birthday, I'm taking Connor. Do you want to go?"
"Who am I supposed to take?" You questioned her
"Take Arno, he's well behaved and your mom thinks that's your boyfriend anyway."
"Arno" you said oh so sweetly
"No" Arno simply stated
"You dont even know what I'm going to ask"
"What ever it is, I don't want to do it" he simply replied
"Take Edward" your bestie suggested once more
You looked over at Edward who was still sharing the recliner with you
You layed your head on his shoulder "Edward, I need a favor"
"What is it lass?" He asked
"(Bf/n)'s cousin is having a ball for her birthday and I want to go but-"
Desmond finished your sentence "you don't have a date"
You winked and pointed at him.
"So you want me to go?" Edward questioned
"That's right!" You said with a big grin
"No" he said simply and your mouth dropped
"Why not?" You asked and he shrugged
"Am I going to have to beg?" You wondered aloud and he shook his head in agreement
You pulled Edward's arm around your shoulders and held his hand
"Will you go with me to my friend's ball please, please please with cherries on top?" You begged with your bottom lip stuck out and he smirked in amusement
"Awe how cute" Arno and Desmond joked
"What do I get in return?" He asked
"What do you want?" You countered
He thought for a moment then smiled "I'll have to think on it"
"Works for me let's go" you jumped up and grabbed his hand and pulled him to his feet
"What are we doing now?" Edward questioned
"We have to go shopping!" You said as you ran up stairs to get shoes
"I'm regretting this"
