Chapter 18

Lauren's POV

"Hi Lauren. Or should I say babe." Kelly said. "Don't call me that. We broke up." I said. "No we didn't. We had a fight and I walked out but we never broke up." She said. I shook my head. "I told you if you walked out that door then we were done with." I said. I looked back at the table. Camila was gone and everyone else was looking at us curiously. "Well it was never official." Kelly said. "Where is Camz?" I asked my friends. "Bathroom." They all said. I nodded. "Kelly, we've broken up. We did years ago. I have a family now. I'm over you." I said before running off to find Camila.

I walked into the bathroom to see her leaning against the wall on the floor. I sat down beside her. "Camz..." I started. "I know you're mad but I pushed her away." She didn't move. "Camz, I'm over her. I have been since before our relationship. There's nothing between her and I." I said trying again. Camila looked at me. She took one hand in hers. "How long were you together?" She asked. "4 years. We were high school sweethearts." I said. She nodded. "Did you sleep together? Like in anyway shape or form?" I shook my head. "We made out mostly but neither of us were ready for the beginning of our relationship." She nodded again. "Why'd you guys break up?" I sighed and began to tell her what happened the night of the break up.

I walked back into the crowd of students that filled the living room. I took a drink of the strong alcohol I had in my cup as I looked around for my girlfriend. I saw Jem first. "Hey babe. Have you seen Kell?" I asked her. She pointed towards the stairs and I walked over and started to climb up them. "Shit! I'm sorry!" I said running into somebody causing our drinks to go over both of us. "Laur, what're you doing?" The girl said. I looked up to meet the eyes of my girlfriend. "I was looking for you. Do you think we can go talk?" I said. She nodded and took me upstairs. We entered an empty room and she shut the door. I sat on the bed and she sat beside me. "I know for awhile now that you've been ready to take the next step and after thinking about it, I'm ready as well. But there's something we have to talk about." I said. "Laur it can wait." She said putting herself into my lap and kissing my neck hard. I put the thought in the back of my head and closed my eyes. We made out until we were both shirtless. She laid me back on the bed and sat up. I finally opened my eyes once again and they immediately went to her neck where there was a fresh bruising. "Kell, whats that?" I said rubbing her neck. She got up and checked in the mirror on the dresser. "Shit." She said. I sat up and put my shirt back on. "Did you cheat on me?" I asked, my voice cracking. "I can't lie now can I? Of course I did. I told you I was ready 3 months ago. You're not. I have needs." She said. "That doesn't mean you fucking cheat on me! I was ready to tell you the biggest secret of my life and you do this?! Is this what you were doing while I was trying to find you downstairs?!" I yelled at her. She shrugged. "I can't do this right now. I'm gonna go. Call me?" She said walking towards the door. "If you walk out that door, we're done."

"And she did. Its done. Im with you. You're my life." I said. She stood up and held her hand out to me. I took it and she pulled into a hug. "I'm so sorry." She said. "Good now let's go." I said.

Camila's POV

When we came out of the bathroom, Kelly was gone. "Hey guys." Lauren said as we sat back down. "You guys missed it. Once Laur went to find you, Kelly looked at Cameron and Camilla and said they were so cute. So Dinah said yeah well they're Lauren's and Camila's. So then Kelly sat down beside them and was like shut the fuck up no way. Camilla looked at Cameron and said shut the fuck up so then Cameron looked at Kelly and said shut the fuck up. Kelly got up and stormed away." Normani said. Lauren and i both looked at the twins. "You guys know that is bad language but-" I start to scold them but Lauren stopped her as she reached over her. "High five!" She said causing both kids to accept her off. I glared at her. "Theyre two. We'll talk to them later." She whispered in my ear. I nodded and we continued to eat and hang out until we left and made our way to the beach.
