Exalting your faults
Extending your hate
Evaporating your goodness
Lasting through the ages
Revenge has many stages
But lies prevent hope
The hurt prevents love
And revenge rises everyday
Dark and twisted
Lost and forgotten
Every lie stretches further from your light
Sucking you towards the darkness
Pulling you to strive
Revenge has a hold
And it's never letting go
