"I love you too, Fred Weasley."
He smiled and pulled Hermione into a hug.
"Oh, thank Merlin!"
She giggled and leaned against his chest.
"Let's get you back to the Gryffindor Tower."
Hermione felt so tired and was slumping on Fred's shoulder.
"Carry me?"
Fred smirked and lifted Hermione so that she was comfortable.
"Oh Merlin, I forgot that Draco was waiting for me!" said Hermione as the two descended the spiraling staircase.
"Bloody Hell, George! What are you doing with Granger!"
Draco stood and stared at the two as if they had twelve heads.
"I'm not George!"
Hermione giggled Fred's reply.
"Thank you for waiting for me, Draco. But Fred can take it from here."
She planted an innocent kiss on Draco's pale cheek and squirmed in Fred's arms.
"You, um, can put me down."
Fred only adjusted his hold on Hermione.
"Nope."
"Fred Weasley! You put me down this instant!"
"Not gonna happen, Hermione."
"Freeeeedddd," she whined. This amused both Fred and Draco as they shared a smirk.
"You sound like a fiver year old, Granger." Draco snickered at Hermione's glare and started to back away, knowing that no good could come from pissing Hermione Granger off.
"Well, have a nice night, you two. But not too nice." Draco winked at the new couple and took off running and laughing as Hermione fired a hex in his general direction.
"Draco Malfoy! How dare you!" Hermione once again squirmed in Fred's arms.
"Damn it, woman. Can't a guy just pretend to be a knight for a while? Let me carry you to the Common Room, at least."
She sighed in defeat, knowing that he wasn't going to let up. The twins and Ginny were very determined in getting their way.
"Fine," she grumbled. He started to make his way to the Fat Lady portrait and Hermione clung to his warm chest, listening to his even heartbeats. Before she could even say 'thank you,' she was asleep in his arms. He planted a sweet kiss on her forehead and went to her dorm room. He didn't have problems with the staircase because it trusted his intentions and knew that he would never take advantage of her.
"Goodnight, Hermione."
She smiled in her sleep and rolled over as Fred placed the covers over her petite body.-------
Don't kill me! This is still a Dramione fiction but Draco has to do some... Things first. Trust me. It's getting good. Love you all! Only one more chapter until year 4 is done! Thank you so much to those who have stuck by me in this journey. We are so close to half way done (not including epilogue)!
