i fixed the pockets of my jeans before getting out of the elevator to meet Grayson, I still don't know why I agreed to dinner

"Alexa" he said while eyeing me down

"Grayson hi" I stutter

"Ready to go?" he asks

"Yes, where are we going?" I ask

"Nothing fancy, I was thinking in and out. That's still your favorite place right?" he asks

I blush at the fact that he still remembered little things like that

"Yeah sounds great" I smile

We both ordered and Grayson insisted on paying

"Next time I'm paying" I laughed

"There's going to be a next time?" he asked

I felt stupid for saying that

"Oh I'm sorry" I mumble feeling stupid

"It's fine, I was hoping you would want to be friends and hangout" he smiled

For a while we talked about each other's lives and what has been going on. We caught up

"Do you ever regret breaking up?" He asks and I choke a little

"To be completely honest at first I did miss you a lot. I cried at night and wouldn't get out of bed for days but then I would remember how bad our relationship was at the end. We didn't even talk, and that pushed me to forget" I spilled

"So you did or didn't miss me?" he asked

"I missed you, not our relationship"
