The Face Of Old Friends

Y/n's pov
Shikamaru and I we're out shopping with Lily as we heard a scream from around the corner. I ran as fast as I could to see what was going on when I saw the last person I wanted to see. My eyes widened as I dropped the bags I was holding and everyone looked at me "y/n what's wrong." Naruto said as I just staire at the 2 people I thought I'd never see again not after the funeral. "K-kankuro T-temari i-is that really you?" I managed out I was happy yet terrified at the same time I wasn't supposed to go near them I'm just glad Gaara isn't with them because if he was the kazekage would have me killed. Temari instantly recognized me she looked like she was about to cry. She ran at me and hugs me my shocked face turns into a soft smile as I hug her back. "Y/n...." she muttered in my shoulder but Kankuro didn't realize who I was. 'I shouldn't talk to these guys' you turn to leave I turned slightly and said "tell gaara I'm still alive I can't talk to you now but I will find you when the time comes that I can." And with that you left. I can't believe they're here there us only one explanation the chunin exams are coming up. This makes the perfect excuse to talk to the sand siblings
~time skip~
I was walking through town with Lily when she shivered a little so I asked her what was wrong. "We should go to the training grounds now." She said and so we went to the training grounds Lily tends to know where to be at the time you should be there it's kinda weird. I wasn't paying attention to where we were until I heard a gasp I looked over to see Kankuro, Temari and Gaara "shoot uh hey guys." I said I guess Kankuro finally recognizes me. "Who are you?" Gaara asked me " uh my name is y/n l/n." Gaara glared at me " no your not the y/n I know is dead."
