In my art class, one of our last projects before summer break involved taking pictures of ourselves and friends from the perspective of a paparazzi crowd with a black and white disposable camera. We selected our favorite photo after the film was developed, and after our art teacher got it printed onto a large photo print, we painted in certain details and parts of the picture we liked to make them stand out. My friend took this picture of me sketching behind my art teacher's house, and I painted in my hair and the reeds that run along the creek that goes through her backyard .
