He excused himself from the celebration and went over to stand beside the pillar, his phone in hand. He had heard it vibrate in his back pocket but he was occupied with the event and couldn't tend to it immediately

He sees that hes got a message from her

Her: Enjoy the event. My warmest warmest congrats to Lola and Lolo... Do send me a pic of them when you get a chance. And tell me when they are free, I'll like to personally congratulate them as well

He smiles. How easily his family accepted her and she blended herself with them was both surprising but fulfilling. He quickly sends all the pictures and the video of the wedding vows to her. Thank God the internet connection was good here.

She immediately replies

She: OMG!!!! They are practically glowing. 😍😍😍

He: I know right.. 47 years later and still look the young couple they were

She: Lola looks like she hasn't aged at all. I need to know what is her secret to her beauty. And I can feel Lolo's happiness

He: I feel so blessed having to witness such a great love story and be the opo of such amazing people.

She: On a scale of kidnapping episode and TP, how much did you cry?

He: Anoba!!! Who said I cried?

She: Sheesh... don't play around, answer

He: But why are you so positive that I did?

She: Cause you are Tisoy.. Tha Pambangsang Emotional sweetheart ....

He: That doesn't sound right

She:.... and also cause Rizza sent me your entire reaction to the whole ceremony

He: I really need to have a serious 'kuya' talk with her

She: Quit it Shok's.. it's nothing to be ashamed about. I actually like it when you cry, shows your feelings are genuine

He: Like it or love it? 😘

She: Don't push it, ctto Andrew

He: 😅

Anyway.. I really couldn't help it. They looked so much at peace and content with their lives. I envy their ability to have been able to find their soulmates. 47 years is such a long time and they have gone through so much ... Both as a couple, as parents and as grandparents.. And yet they survived it all. Standing there on the side, I couldn't help but admire their strengths. Both are strong individuals but their love for each other has made them practically invincible. They hold our entire family together, they are our foundation. And I cant help but pray that God always always let them be this happy

She: You know RJ, you can even make people cry without you standing in front of them... That was one heck of an emotional speech

He: Aww.. my Bibi is crying???

She: Yes, but not as hard as you. No one beats the Pambangsang Bae

He: There you go with the titles again... sigh

She: Cheer up, it's a happy day.. I feel so blessed that not only did July 16 got me to meet you but it also paved the way to get to know your wonderful wonderful family and get so much love from them too. I never honestly thought in my dreams that they would approve of me, let alone love me so much...

He: That was only pessimistic mind speaking. Sometimes I think they love you more than me

She: Aww.. seloso much?

He: Not at all

She: Why?

He: Cause I love you too.

She: Cheesy

He: And I know that you don't like it when i dwell on the future must. But N if there is one thing I have learned from thier story, it's not to let go of your soulmate when you find them. I know I have found mine and I cant wait for the day when both of us will be standing in front of that altar and celebrating our 50th too.

She: *seen*

He sighs.. He didn't exactly expect her to reply but he knew that he needed to tell her that. He promised himself that he would do everything in his power to make her his, even if it meant waiting patiently for her. They are already halfway down he road, and he isn't planning to slow down. He puts the phone back in his back pocket. And makes his way back to the party.

Two minutes later and his phone buzzes

She: I can't wait too..🙏

(Obviously I don't have it in me to write emotional speeches but that photo gave me much feels and made me itching for a story to be told)
