Chapter 2

Chandler's POV

I walked back into the room that the reception was being held in, taking deep breaths and trying to forget about the whole ordeal with Monica.

I wasn't going to tell Mike. This was his day and it would be cruel to ruin it.

I hoped that Monica would talk to Mike. I really wanted their marriage to work out.

Looking around, I found Katelyn in the same place she was in before I left.

As I approached her, she looked at me and smiled and I leaned down and kissed her.

As I sat down, she turned to me and said, "We should head home. We have a lot of press for the movie tomorrow."

"Yeah," I agreed. "That's probably a good idea."

As I said that, I saw Monica come back into the room, a smile evident on her face, obviously doing the same thing as me, trying hard to forget that anything happened.

"Let's say goodbye to Mike and Monica," Katelyn said and grabbed my hand, pulling me to my feet.

I hesitantly followed her.

As we approached the newlyweds, I saw that Mike had his arm wrapped around Monica's shoulders and she was nursing a glass of champagne.

They smiled as they saw us.

"We gotta go," Katelyn said regretfully.

"It's okay, we get it," Mike assured. "You guys are actors, you have a busy schedule."

"Well, congratulations on the marriage," I told them.

"Thank you," Monica said.

Katelyn reached forward and gave Monica a hug while a shook hands with Mike.

Kate then went over to Mike and hugged him, giving him a kiss on the cheek while I hesitantly hugged Monica.

After we said our goodbyes, Kate and I got in our car and drove back to the hotel.
