I just couldn't believe it. Zolton Gubnil is alive and again he threatens my life. I thought that part of my life was long gone. I am just recovering from my wounds. But this time he will regret threatening me. We are coming after him even though it is dangerous. But somehow I feel that it is necessary. If we don't stop him who will?

It seems like a rush. Tomorrow we will start heading towards Airea. It's a long way but manageable. I wonder how it is in the biggest elven city. I know I have been there already but I don't remember anything. It's a shame.

Alexanders voice ripped me out of my thoughts:

"Are you alright?"

I nodded.

We went back to our room. Alexander had to carry me because I wasn't strong enough to stand. It's pitiful. Tricked and cursed by someone who was thought dead.

The large door opened and we entered the maybe largest bedroom I have ever seen. It was made for dragons and they're not small. Dragons are twice as tall as trees and our huge wings can stretch out far.

Alexander put me gently on my bed. I was so exhausted that my eye lids were closing and I made it myself comfortable in my bed.

That I would have a bed is a strange thought. Before this all happened I slept on hay. Well in the time I didn't remember anything. I still don't remember but I have learned much in the past few days.

I close my eyes and before falling to sleep I hear Alexanders voice saying :

"Good night, Elarayne."

~~~
As I wake up I see Alexander still sleeping. It's a rare sight. Normally he would be the one to say 'good morning' to me.
I decided to go out of the room to let him sleep peacefully. As I quietly closed the door I didn't know where to go.
Even if I would how would I get there? Before me I see three paths stretching out so far that I can't see where it leads to.
Without knowing what to do I chose the path straight in front of me. Who knows where I will arrive.
The dwarven tunnels are so complex. I wonder how long they already stand like this.
I remember that Alexander explained me how the High Mountains were created. The humans who were destroying the earth everywhere they tread were the main cause. A plague that should destroy itself.
It is true that their cities were dirty and full of sickness. I haven't seen (and don't remember) cities of the elves. The dwarves have it quite nice here. They have free spaces where sunlight and rain passes through to the crops. Gigantic halls and a lot of living space for all of the dwarves living in the High Mountains.
I think Alexander said that Erthiean created the High Mountains. I assume he is a earth dragon. It must be. Having the power of controlling the earth.
I wonder how long I have been wandering through the tunnels... There's no end to it. I think I'm lost.
Maybe I'll turn right it might lead... somewhere.
But instead I crash into a dwarf.
"I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to -"
"There you are. We have been looking for you.", Fokhin said.
"Oh... Well I got - "
"- lost. I know. These tunnels are complex. Now follow me. Alexander is quite worried about you."
"Why is he worried?"
"Because yesterday you were attacked by Zolton Gubnil who drained your power and today you just wander off getting lost in the tunnels. Did you forget that you are heading towards Airea today? It's a very long journey."
That's right. I totally forgot that. Airea...
"Now we are going to eat breakfast and then you will start heading towards Airea.", Fokhin said.
"You're not coming with us?"
"No. We would just slow you down. Time is short."
~~~

After we ate breakfast things went fast. Alexander packed some supplies for the journey like food and water. It was all in two small backpacks. It would be enough for two days.

We followed the dwarf who led us to the second exit. For the first time after the incident I could see the elven lands. I wonder how they would be...

The door opened very slowly and as it opened I saw it. The trees were tall and some were even colorful not just the plain green. Birds were flying all over the forest and in it a lot of animals were at home.

It's beautiful.

"May your journey run smooth friends. I wish you luck.", Fokhin said as a goodbye.

"And may the Creator be on our side.", Alexander said in return.

After our goodbyes were said we started heading towards Airea.

"Turn yourself into a jaguar.", Alexander said to me.

"A jaguar?", I asked.

In the shadow of the High Mountains where the humans live are only animals like wolfs, bears, eagles, foxes and so on. In this forest the animals seemed very different. The air was different too. This is a different kind of forest from what I know.

"This.", Alexander said before turning himself into a 'jaguar'.

He looked like a cat just much bigger. His fur had a specific pattern on it.

I looked at it closely and then I tried to shapeshift in that being. It took a while but it worked.

My backpack which I was wearing was still on my back but it was secure. It couldn't fall off. That's why we have such small backpacks. If we wanted to carry more we would be much slower.

Alexander started running very fast through the strange forest. I followed him immediately. If I would get lost that would be bad. I don't want to get lost... again.
