It was already slightly dark as Kaname walked home, covered in even more bandages than in the morning. She almost tripped on her way, but still kept her good mood.

"I planted all the roses and took out all the weeds today~!"
She sang.
"Today, I'll feast on cup noodle soup!"

On her way home, she snapped her fingers.
"I'll give him some of my plants! Maybe after work tomorrow, I can bring some food, invite Miyuki and Kohina, and we can all have a big dinner together!"

She walked passed by a small flower shop called BEAUTIFUL BLOSSOM and took out a key from her jakcet pocket.
She walked in, flashed the lights on, and picked up a small pot of white lilies.
"I'll just use my pay to buy my flowers, hehe. These'll be perfect~. They look like his hair."
She put a few bucks into a chasier, before turning to leave.
She quickly walked out, turning off the lights and locking the door.

"Now, onward!"
Kaname yelled out, pointing ahead and marching.

People stared at her in confusion, but she didn't really care.

She took a shorcut through a park to get home, passing by a young girl curled up and shivering on a bench.

Kaname started to run over, curious, but tripped about halfway through.

The girl got up in an instant and helped Kaname up.
"Are you okay?!", she asked worriedingly.

Kaname smiled and dusted herself off.
"Fine fine, I'm fine!"
She then started to pick her spilled contents.

"Here, let me help!"
The girl said, picking up the flower pot and any spilled dirt on the floor.

"Thanks", Kaname replied, picking up the flower seed packets.

Soon, everything was picked up and placed in the girl's arms again.
Kaname stood up, and bowed to the other girl.
"Thank you.", she repeated.

She then slammed her fist into her open hand once she got up.
"I know! I'll give you my jacket as repayment for helping me!"

The other girl held out her hands and shook them.
"No no! It's okay! You don't need to!"
But, as she said that, a breeze passed through and she shivered.

Kaname took off her light purple jacket.
"It's a little dirty from when I fell, but it's really warm!"

The girl reluctantly took the jacket and put it on.
"Th-thanks...", she muttered.

"No problem!"
Kaname replied, outstretching her hand.
"My names Kaname!"

"Nanami. Momozono Nanami."
The girl said, bowing slightly.
She then sat back down on the bench.

Kaname looked up, able to see the stars.
"It's getting late, huh?"

Nanami looked up as well, and furrowed her eyes.
"Yeah, it is..."

Kaname sat down, holding the pot in her lap.
"If it okay, can I ask why you're still out?"

Nanami stayed silent for a minute.
But she soon spoke.
"Well, you see..."

She then started to explain. About her father being a gambler, and about using the rent money to place bets. Then about how he left, and how she got kicked out of her apartment.

At the end, Kaname had streaks of tears running down her face.

"It's okay! I'll find a way to manage!"
Nanami reassured the other girl.
