Naruto's POV
The yellow haired guy could just be my new favourite person!!!! His ramen is sooo amazing; it's like a bowl of perfection, dattebayo!
Once I finished slurping up my ramen, I went outside, and looked around the ship. There were many new and unfamiliar things. However, the large crow's nest looked so awesome.
Walking over to the mast, I tried climbing the wooden pole using only my feet, and the smallest amount of chakra I possibly could before beginning the journey up the pole.
Once I reached the top, I crawled in through the door to see a weights room. I grinned, wondering if the world had been introduced to gravity seals yet?
There were sooo many huge weights around the room, it took me a second to notice the green haired man using them. His shirt was off and I could see a large scar running over his torso, and another over his eye.
I smiled, as the scar reminded me of my sensei from the other world, and how I gave him a new eye.
Glancing over at the man, I sat down next to him, and watched him, his swords reminding me of Sasuke.
The arm flying away as it was severed flashed through my mind, and I grimaced, laying down on the floor to think.
The man next to me continued his weights, and made no move to speak. However, I saw his eyes trail over my chest every now and then.
It was a grueling process for me to think now. Every time I tried, flashes of the war haunted me, including Neji, who sacrificed himself for me.
Giving up on thinking, I suddenly remembered Kurama, and sat up in a meditation pose before going into my mindscape.
Glancing around at the even worse than usual sewer, I instantly noticed Kurama laying in his cage, his head on his paws. However, that wasn't all I saw.
There, in the cage with him, seemed to be tiny versions of the other tailed beasts.
The hell...this is gonna be an interesting talk!
"He-ey guys," I said, and all the tailed beasts except Kurama (lazy fox!) came and sat around me. Smiling, I asked how they got here.
They explained in detail that when I took the last of the tailed beast's chakra, they pushed their souls into it so that they would no longer be inside Madara, and only their chakra was.
It made sense, so I left them to it before leaving my mindscape.
I stood to go look out the windows. However, one of my bandages got caught on a loose nail and tripped me up.
Scowling at it, I unraveled the bandages from my arms, chest, and pretty much everywhere, and glanced over my wounds.
The scars on my chest were huge. So huge, it made no logical sense for me to be alive.
I frowned. Yeaaahhh, next time, I don't care how certain I am that I'm dying, I'll dodge anyway.
Glancing at them, I shrugged, and unsealed a scroll from my arm, and in turn unsealed one of my black and orange jackets from the scroll.
Before I put it on, my eyes drifted towards the sage mark on my hand, and promptly widened. The small moon shaped tattoo was now twisting its way up to my wrist, looking strangely like the curse marks that snake-teme gave Sasuke. However, mine were white, and intricately twisted around my fingers
Leaving it, I shrugged on the jacket, leaving it unzipped, and went to look outside the crow's nest window.
Looking around, I could see mostly water. Water that could be a good use for my chakra training.
Turning back around, I suddenly got the feeling back; the one where I knew I could do anything, just like during the war.
Walking over to the green haired man, I lifted my hand to his face. He stiffened, but didn't move. My hand covered his scarred eye.
Pushing the sage mark's power into his eye, I left the scar, getting the feeling this guy had a thing with scars being reminders and whatnot.
Removing my hand from his face, I turned and jumped from the crow's nest landing back on deck. I walked back to the room I was in, and crawled back under the covers of the bed.
Zoro's POV
My face started feeling weird when the blonde kid touched it. It was really weird. When he touched my eye, it took everything not to inch away from the weirdo.
But after he'd left, I noticed something. After such a long time- I could open my other eye?
Opening it, my breath was lost, as I could see completely different through this eye than I ever had before.
All the colours around me were brighter, and every detail was blatantly obvious. Not only that, but everything was visible, even in the darkness or in the water.
Strange. Was this what he saw out of his eyes when he looked at the world?
He can't have had a very good view on the world if those scars were any indication. But he seems so cheerful, like Johnny and Yosaku, the knuckle head bounty hunters.
Looking over to my swords with my new eye, I could see the power emanating off them like they had their own auras.
Hope of becoming the world's best swordsman was easier to see now. More than ever.
XOXO
