But one day he decided to to make his own tree.

He had a big seed and planted it into the ground he looked after it for a year.

He watered it every day.

Until it grew and grew.

He always liked to look at his tree through the window.

Until he saw a poster on his tree.

He ran up to the tree, it said....

TREE WILL BE CHOPPED DOWN TOMMOROW!

"No!"

Max was very upset, what could he do to save his tree.

He spent ages growing his tree, watering and watching.

How could he let his tree get chopped down.

No! No! No!

"I need to think of something."

He bought a lifetime supply of tree seeds.

He next day, a old man came with a big saw.

He was about to hit the tree until.

"Wait!" Max came with the seeds.

"What boy? I need to chop these trees down. I need as much trees as possible."

He was out of breath.
"It's just that, it took a long time to make this tree. It really means a lot to me so please don't chop it down." He sobbed.

"Well, I need the trees!" He yelled.

"Mummy says that it is bad to get rid of trees."

"Well I'm using them for good."

"If I give you a supply of these special tree seeds, would you please leave my tree alone."

"Ok."

He finally left the tree alone and hurried off.

Max was happy to save the tree.

The next morning, he looked through the window like everyday. But something was different.

The tree had grown up past the clouds and grew enormous leaves.

He started to climb up it
