"Can you like fuck off or something" i scream at my annoying brother as i walk down the stairs he following me
"Olivia language and Ryan stop annoying your sister" my mom warns
I sigh loudly and look behind me seeing Ryan stick out his tongue as i mime his action
I sat myself down at the table and layed my head on it closing my eyes
"Liv, your head" i heard a voice say making me open my eyes and coming eye to eye with my annoyed mother a board full with diner in her hands
I tilt up my head and my mother sets the food down
My mom sits down herself and starts eating just like my brother
"Start eating hunny" mom says looking at my uneaten food, at me and back at the food
"She thinks she gets fat" Ryan teases
"Shut up" i mumble grabbing my fork and starting to eat some rice
My brother knows how insecure i feel about myself and nothing of what he says will hurt more than his stupid jokes about it
But what for are siblings then, right
"Olivia you're being called" the voice of my mom gets me, again out of my thoughts
Now also hearing the ringtone of my phone i grab it from the back pocket of my jeans seeing its an anonymous number
"Hello"
I say picking up
"Hello your calling with Mendes Music Industry, is this Olivia Jackson were calling with" a manly voice says.
"Yes thats me"
Before i could say anything else the man, i think starts talking again
" im Andrew Gertler, manager of Manuel Mendes. The owner of the industry"
"Hi Andrew. What- what are you calling for"
"Shawn Mendes, the son of Manuel who also works in this industry does a lot of things here. He's a songwriter, makes new tunes on the guitar and piano. He's really interested in making and listening to music"
Its silence for a second as i wait for him to continue
"Shawns a very busy man although he just turned 22. He's stressing a lot and asked for some kinda, you know partner. We saw your résumé and saw you were interested in music and had a previous job in the music industry so we actually wanna have a talk with you"
"what do you think about that" Andrew says
"Oh my, yes that would be so cool"
" great do you have time tomorrow at 10 AM"
"Yes ofcourse thank you so much for this opportunity"
"Great see you tomorrow, have a nice evening mrs. Jackson"
"Thank you, you to" the phone line died down as i let out a scream
"OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG"
"What" my brother asks
"YAAAAAASSSSSS"
"tell me olivia" Ryan shakes my shoulders shutting me up
"They asked me to partner with shawn mendes. The son of manuel mendes in the music industry. This is amazing, i finally have a change to get a job"
"Hunny im so happy for you" my mom stands up and giving me a hug
"Good job sis" Ryan says patting my shoulder
"I need to surch for an outfit" i scream running upto the stairs
"Olivia your food" my mom yells
I sigh
"Later mom"
And just before i opened the door of my walk in closet i heard the voice of my brother
"were not gonna see her tonight anymore, that girl takes hours to surch for a simple outfit"
