Seeing people that others can't is never a good thing. Especially when the people you see aren't living.

Here's the thing, humans can't actually see Vampires. They can only be seen by other Vampires and humans descended from Vampire Hunters.

So what happens when an unsuspecting, 21-year-old girl suddenly starts seeing insanely attractive, pale-faced people? The people don't appear to breath or eat and to her, it's completely frightening. When the Vampires find out about her, she is captured by the bloodthirsty beasts. What do you believe should happen next?
