I put the candles back into back into the box with the paper and stored it into a corner of the attic. Night is sitting patiently, its quite awkward.

"Well I'm going to the kitchen to get something to eat," I said walking to the door. Night jumped to his paws excitedly.

"Yay! You got any meat to eat?" He asked looking hungry. "I never had lunch."

"You eat?" I asked surprised.

"Well I don't have to eat per say, but food is delicious so I eat," he explained with a gleam in his eyes. "So you have meat."

"Um ya," I said, then I grumbled. "Great I have a familiar that is going to eat all my food!" I ran down the stairs with Night on my tail, pun intended. I went down the other flight of stairs into the basement. I went into the kitchen and looked in the freezer for some steak or something to cook. I found a big steak and put it on the table. I looked into the fridge for something to go with the steak. Then Night leaped up on his two legs with his big paws on the counter, staring at the steak. He licked his lips.

"Hey! Get down! Just because your my familiar doesn't mean paws are allowed on the counter!" I said and shewed him away and he got down on all fours. "I don't even let my own cat on the counters where the food is."

"Wait, you have a cat?" He asked.

"Ya her name's Silver," I said.

"I thought is smelled a animal," he murmured. Then Silver walking in and as soon as she saw Night she froze on the spot. She started hissing and growling at him, he's in her territory and she does not like it one bit. Night faced her and growled, his eyes narrowed his eyes, fighting for dominance. Night slowly walked towards her. When she got a good look at him she stopped growling and crouched low to the ground, giving up. I think she now's that he is not a normal big cat. The anger in her eyes was replaced by fear.

"Hey stop it she gave up no need to fight," I said sharply. Night stopped growling, but continued to walk up to her. Then he bent down and smelled her in greeting to show he means no harm to her. She relaxed and smelled him back in greeting. "I thought no one could see you." He stepped back and looked back at me.

"Only animals can see me," he replied. I nodded in understanding.

I cooked the steak and some vegetables onto a plate. I sat down on the bean bag chair with the plate. I started eating, then Night walked in with a big chunk of steak in his mouth.

"Really, you just had to, eh?" I scolded. He shrugged and sank his teeth into the steak. I rolled his eyes. This should be fun I thought. I ate quickly, then I smelled a familiar sent. I heard the jingling of keys and the door opened. "It's mom!" Night is still laying there eating the steak.

"This is good, thanks," he mumbled through the food.

"What are you doing? What if my mom saw you!" I growled.

"Calm your horses, she can't see me remember," he said.

"Oh ya, I forgot," I said embarrassed.

"You should probably go see her," he said. I nodded and walked upstairs. Mom is in the kitchen, leaning against the wall.

"Hello Selene," she said with smile. Then she looked at my clothes and I rememberedthat I never changed out of that guys clothes. Then she spat. "What the hell are you doing in a boys clothes?" The wild cat is pacing back in forth growling and hissing, she does not like her at all right now. I can't blame her. I stoped myself from saying your yelling at me! I'm not the one who lied about me being your child!

"I know what your thinking 'Selene's sleeping around with boys, no surprise there!' Well I'm not, so stop accusing me of stuff I don't do!" I hissed, I can feel my eyes turning into slits. The wild cat is taking control and I feel like I'm about to shift right here right now. I heard Night walking up to me.

"Calm down, the wild cat is taking over," he hissed from behind me. He's right I need to calm down I thought. I breathed in and out, trying to calm down. My eyes went back to normal, it worked.

"Then explain why you are in a boys clothes!" She said.

"I'm not doing this, my friend is in a coma right now and she might not wake up!" I whispered and I felt tears forming in my eyes. I started to cry. The anger left her eyes and she can up to be and hugged me.

"It's going to alright, we will get through this," she whispered to me.
