⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"Are you sure that this is a good idea, Mads? I don't feel very comfortable in these clothes... What if guys think I'm a kind of a slut?" I asked, examining myself in the full-length-body mirror. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"Oh come on, Chloe. You look gorgeous." Maddie complained, while she was brushing her hair. "And by the way, your skirt is exactly long enough, to not call you a slut." She chuckled. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Maybe Maddie was right, and I want this school year to be the best I've ever had. I'm known as the nerd, the shy girl. I want to be more than this. And if I want that Ricky notices me as well, then I need to at least try. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀After an anoher thirty minutes, it was time to head towards our school. We walked together, not leaving each others side. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀My eyes scanned all the people who were passing by, and I felt how all eyes were resting on my shoulders. Boys stared at me with a smirk on their faces, and girls nodded in approval. Woah, I needed to do this so much earlier. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Walking inside, I could already spot the popular guys standing by their lockers. Josh Hyland, Zack Torres, Nick Rowen and of course, Ricky Garcia. They were talking to each other and laughing, when suddenly Zack spotted me. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀He said something to the rest of the guys, but I couldn't figure out what it was. Altough, they all turned their head to face me, and it was pretty funny to see how they stared at me. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Some girls came up to me, talking about how they loved my hair and clothes. I guess I already made a new couple of friends. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀The bell rang and it was time for classes. The hallways got less crowded and I slowly approached mathclass. Why on eart do they think it's a good idea to start the first day of the new schoolyear, with freaking math. MATH! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀I sighed deeply and walked inside. I saw how people were staring at me once again, but I decided not to care about it. I slowly walked towards the backseats in the classroom, putting down my purse and grabbing my books. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀And when I put my books down on my desk, I saw how a figure already had taken a seat next to me. I raised an eyebrow when I noticed that nobody else than Ricky Garcia sat down next to me. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"I assume this seat isn't taken yet?" He chuckled. He smiled at me with one of these golden smiles every girl falls for. But I know better. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"Well I guess it wasn't before you sat here?" I said, looking at him with confusion in my eyes. "You changed a lot during summer." He said, looking right into my eyes. "Sounds a little bit superficial, don't you think?" I asked. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
