Lapis POV

I remember that day. My mom pulling up to the freak show tent and picking me up to take me out for a day together. We had sat at a huge restaurant a small wooden table that was in the perfect shape of a circle and across from her sipping from the cup that said, "let's go see the fire." I was pretty interested about that but, I didn't understand the restaurant local by that any in any means.

"Honey, I'm glad you're having fun at the freak show tent and living with them but, I wish you would come home." My mom says looking at me her green eyes staring into my blue ones. It was like she sent me here to interrogate me. We just came up and then we just heard me slimmer cut down instantly. "Mom, I'm having fun there and Jimmy really want me there." I say keeping a calm face. We discussed more of the topic and the waitress came to refill my glass of tea. I think her when she walked away and looked back at my mother. There was chandeliers hanging from the wooden feelings and beautiful Decour everywhere. This place was fabulous and I wondered why my mom brought me here. I guess she brought me to a nice fitting so she could trick me into coming home.

She explained to me that she was missing me. I had looked her deep in the eyes and told her, "mom, I don't want to leave Jimmy in the game. It's fun at the freak show place and I don't want to leave them. If I left... It would be hard on all of them. Especially Jimmy's mother Ethel. She loves me. Jimmy even told me his mother loves me." I kept talking long conversation about how his mother wanted me and him to stay together. What my mom didn't know yet was, the fact that Jimmy and I were together.

I have to go. I have to get out of this place. I've got to get back to Jimmy and tell him what happened. I put up my plate and put a $10 bill on the table for my mother to pay. I gave her something for her troubles to try and attempt to get me home. "Mom I have to go. Jimmy and the others are waiting for me. Jimmy told me he'd be here on his bike at noon to pick me up from the sitting." I say and she started to stand her tight pants almost making her hard to stand for her. "Don't... Don't try to stop me because I'm old enough to say what I want to do.  I'm almost 20 mama I'm almost at the age of being able to completely do what I want and I'm old enough now I can leave." I say waving a hand at her and leaving grabbing my phone to text Jimmy.

Me: hey, can you come early to pick me up?

Jimmy: yeah, are you ready to go? Is everything all right?

Me: i'll explain when you get here.

I shut my phone and I don't wait for him to respond. I go to the water fountain where you drop me off in front of the restaurant bringing me here. I sat and waited. Soon after he was finally here and I ran into his arms almost sobbing. He loved his hand up my back soothingly and whispered into my ear. He picked me up and put me on his bike and we headed back to the campground. When we finally got back to the campground he took me into the RV and lead me on the bed. "What happened, did something happen?" He was worried and I look to him starting to solve again. "Jenny, my mom tried to get me to come home. She wants me need to come home. I don't want to come home." I say and he hugged me again telling me I don't have to leave.

Jimmy's mother comes in and she sets beside me on the bed too. Now with Jimmy on one side and Ethel on the other. The two best people I'd really love to be seen right now and I get that. I get the opportunity to season and I looked back and forth with them sobbing. The subs begin to gently die down. "What's wrong lapis?" His mother asks and I look at her. Then, went to the full story of explaining to her what I told to Jimmy. "Oh no, you don't have to leave if you don't want to. Your mother can't stop you."
