Page 1: Half Devil

Nagisa's Pov

"Bye mom, I'm going to find work. Stay there and take care, okay?" I said to her as I close the door of her room. Finally, she's asleep

After that, I went outside the house and decided to start my day finding work. I looked store by store, house bye house, cafe by cafe and everything, but they didn't accept me. Because they didn't believe me when I showed them my form that I was a boy

So I finally decided to reach my phone and call someone if they know any job that I can take. I called Kayano

"Hi Kayano! Do you know any job that I can take because I badly need a job right now"

"Oh, yeah I know one. But are you sure that you're gonna take any job even if it involves your gender?"

"Yeah anything except stripping and selling my body"

"Good, then go to this address and tell one of the maids that I'm your friend"

"Yeah, okay"

So I went to the address that she told me. It's quite far from here but I still went there

Timeskip

When I finally arrived, my mouth suddenly opened. I didn't expect what I saw. I-it's like a castle. Well it's a mansion but the size and height of it, it definitely looks like a castle

"Commoner, what are you doing here?" One of the maids said

"I-I'm a friend of Kaede Kayano" I said stuttering. It's just that, the posture of the maid is like a soldier. Her voice too, she speaks so straight-forward

"Just wait here" She said then head somewhere

After a few minutes

"Oh Nagisa! Come in" she said

"So what's my job here?" I asked curiously

"I don't know if you're okay with this but is being a personal maid okay with you?" she asked somehow being afraid

"Oh, okay" I said calmly

"But still, how old is my boss?" I asked. Because if it's a child, he/she might be easy. But if it's a senior citizen, the atmosphere between us might be pretty ridiculous

"Don't worry, he's just as the same age as you" she said. Oh great. Wait, he????

"So, I'm a personal maid of a boy? I hope he's not a troublemaker" I said

"Oh, ahahaheheheehe" she laughed nervously

"By the way, where are we going?"

"I'm taking you to our real boss. We're gonna ask the permission of him for you to be his son's personal maid" she said cheerfully

I just nodded

"Don't worry, he's a nice man" she said. I just nodded again

Timeskip

*knock knock*

"Come in" A voice said

"It's me Sir Akabane, Kaede Kayano" She said formally

"Oh, Kayano. What are you doing here?" Sir Akabane said. I just called him that because that's what Kayano called him

"Sir, this is Nagisa Shiota. The one that I told you. He's finding a job because his mother has a terrible disease so he needs a job so that he can buy the medicines for his mother"

"So you're Nagisa Shiota. Nice to meet you. Are you really willing to take this job? Forthy-seven people have already given up and resigned because my son is a half devil" He said seriously

"Yes sir. For my mom, I'm willing to take this job even if the one I'm facing is a devil" I said

"Good. Then I'll introduce you to him" He said then head somewhere. I just followed him

*knock knock*

Sir Akabane knock on a door then opened it. 'What's the purpose of knocking it anyway' I thought

There I saw a male playing some video game on his bed. He must be my boss because he looks just as the same age as me

"What do you need this time old man!?" He shouted.

"Nagisa this is my son, Karma. Karma, this is Nagisa. He will be your personal maid" Sir Akabane said

"What!? I don't need one! Just get the hell out of here and stop interrupting my game you assholes!" Karma said

"Hey you, stop shouting and calling us assholes. First of all, your father is not an old man. He's actually handsome you know and second, we're not assholes, we're humans not like you!" I shouted, really angry

"The heck" He whispered then walked out

"Now do you understand what I mean him being a devil?" Sir Akabane asked

"Yes sir. I understand" I answered

"Do you think you can handle him?" He asked. Of course I can handle him, he's just like my mom, a monster

"Yes sir" I answered

"Then you may start your new job now" Sir Akabane said then walked away. He's going to his office, I guess. I then nodded to him. Okay, today is the start of my new job, but what am I gonna do????

A/N: I'll just end it here. So, is it good? Yeah I know that it's kinda lame but blame my imagination and sorry if there's mistakes. I didn't check it because I'm lazy and I still have so many projects in school so updates may be pretty slow. I'm still a 12 years old freshman in highschool so I'm still pretty dumb. I'm a Filipina by the way!
