niall's pov

I feel like shit right now.

I haven't talked to Olivia since last week and its been killing me. She didn't even let me explain why I faked it, she just shut me out. I don't know when she'll be willing to talk to me again but I hope its soon. But other than that, I think I should go out around London since I'll be traveling a lot during this break.

I quickly pull on a coat over my sweatshirt, and pull on some boots and head out.

Surprisingly there aren't many people out today. I can actually walk and think without being noticed and having to take a picture every 5 seconds... I mean, don't get me wrong, I love our fans, but I just miss being normal sometimes. I miss doing normal things.

I get out my phone and check Twitter to see if Liv has tweeted anything recently. If you were wondering, yes I did find her other account. I actually saw when she followed me but I didn't follow back of course because I didn't want her to know that I knew her account.

She tweeted about getting a new phone so her contacts were erased.

I wonder if she still has mine?

I was almost finished with that thought when I bumped into someone.

"Sorry," was all I managed to say before I looked down at the short person in front of me.

The blonde hair and brown eyes gave her away..

"Niall?" she managed to squeak. I was snapped out of my daze and saw shock in her eyes. She pursed her lips together and began to walk away but I grabbed her wrist.

"Please, let me buy you a coffee or tea or something? I just really wanna talk," I say with a little bit of hope in my tone.

She looked a bit hesitant at first before nodding her head. I gave her a warm smile but she barely even looked at me.

We walked to this little cafe on the corner of the street. Before we went in, I put my hood and sunglasses on, just in case there were fans in there. The streets haven't been that busy today.

Olivia walks up to the counter ahead of me and orders her drink then steps to the side to let me order.

I order my drink and pay. The cashier looked pretty excited and asked me for an autograph, so I just autographed a napkin for her since she didn't have any paper.

I saw Olivia sitting in a booth in the far corner of the cafe, scrolling on her phone. I walk over and sit down across from her. She looks up at me, sips her drink, then looks back down at her phone.

"So are you gonna talk or...?" she finally speaks up. My eyes widen at her voice.

"Uhh yeah so about this whole situation.." I say, gesturing between us. She just tapped her fingers on the table, waiting for her well deserved explanation .

"So I was going to tell you about me being Niall Horan but I was afraid that you would treat me differently. I wanted to have a regular friendship with you but nothing is normal for me nowadays.." I say running my hand through my hair. "And I suck at hiding things, its just that I was really starting to enjoy talking to you. I didn't want to ruin our friendship." I finish, looking at her. She has an unreadable expression on her face. I really want her to say something because this silence is deafening.

Olivia suddenly gets up from her chair and mumbles a quiet 'excuse me'. She walks quickly to the bathroom and leaves me there awkwardly.

I wait for at least ten minutes before she comes back out. She's tugging at her hair which once was in a ponytail.

"I'm sorry," she says after a short silence.

"Its okay-" I begin but I'm cut off by Liv.

"No its not okay. I feel like absolute shit because I shut you out and wouldn't let you explain. I feel like I have torn this friendship apart. I feel like you don't deserve me as a friend. I don't even know why you wanted to talk to me and buy me a drink," she laughed.

I'm taken aback by her sudden apology.

"I'd do anything for you, love." I whispered.

"Huh?" she looked at me confused.

"Nothing," I blushed, but hid away so she couldn't see.

"Um Liv?" I asked shyly. She looked up, giving her my full attention.

"Would you maybe wanna hang out some this week?" I asked her, playing with my fingers under the table.

It looked like she was contemplating it in her mind before nodding her head, a wide grin spreading across her beautiful face.

She gets up from her chair, throwing away her empty cup, me following her actions. We both walk outside together and stand in a comfortable silence.

"Thank you," She says sincerely, looking up at me with her chocolate brown eyes. Then, she does something unexpected, she pulls me into a hug. Her head rests on my chest and she wraps her arms around my torso. I return her hug by placing my hands on her waist and pulling her closer. We stand there for a few minutes enjoying each others company when her phone beeps. She breaks away from the hug to check her messages. Her eyes widen and another beautiful smile appears on her face.

"I got it." She says, still smiling.

"What's you get, love?" I ask.

"I got the new job I applied for," She says, turning around to face me, "I applied to be an interior design intern because I've always wanted to be one, and I got the job!" She says happily.

"I'm so happy for you," I say engulfing her in a huge hug.

"I'll finally make enough money to go to a One Direction meet and greet," She says, smirking, remembering one of our old conversations.

I smile down at her.

I'm so glad I met her.

I'm so glad she let me explain.

"How about we hang out tomorrow, yeah?" I ask her. She nods in approval.

"My place?" I suggest. Her eyes go wide with shock. I can tell she's trying to keep her inner fangirl in.

I laugh at her expression.

"Yeah! Uh totally, sounds good!" She stumbles over her words.

"Alright then, its a date, love," I say, smirking and walking away.

"Are you flirting with me?" She asks me, bringing up yet another one of our conversations.

I smile and shrug, "Maybe I am, maybe I'm not," I wink and walk the other way.
