Olivia's POV
I just don't understand why he thinks I'm just gonna go back and forgive him just like that. you how much hurt he put me through? I just don't want this to ruin our friendship so I don't think it's a good idea for us to date. I still love him though that's the problem.

Frick I just can't get him outta my mind no matter how hard I try. I drove home and slammed the door in frustration. I made my way upstairs to my room and shut the door. I plopped onto my bed and sighed. I just don't know what to do. My dad knocked on the door and came in.

"hey what's going on with you? you've been acting different lately" he asked in a concerned voice.

"I'm just going through some stuff right now,you wouldn't understand"

"you can tell me olivia, I'll understand"

I sighed and looked down. If I tell him he'll get mad at Zach and maybe trade him off the team. he's so over protective over me. but if I do tell him it'll probably make things better.

I took a breath and said, "ok so the thing is,Zach and I broke up" I said.

"oh no I'm so sorry,what happened?" he asked.

Ugh should I tell him the truth of what happened?

"well he um...cheated...on me...with..Brianna.."

"What!" He said in an angry voice. "he hurt my little girl! that's it,I'm talking to the staff and we're gonna trade him" he said sounding upset.

"dad no wait! you cant trade Zach" I said.

"why should I not?"

"because,he still loves me,and I still love him." I honestly can't believe I just said that.

"how can you still love him after what he did to you? I can't coach a player who has hurt my daughter." the more he talked the more upset he got. "plus Zach has been having off games lately,maybe it's time for him to go to a new team" he said.

"dad the only reason is because he misses me!" I said getting teary eyed.

"see I told you it wasn't a good idea for you two to date. now look where it got you two. trading him will be better for his career and better for you."

"dad no you can't trade him!please"

"I am!and your not gonna do anything about it or change my mind!" he said yelling at me.

I started crying and ran out my room. I quickly put on my shoes and ran out the door to my car. I drove off and went away. I gotta go talk to Zach before it's too late.

Zach's POV
I went to the couch and turned on the tv. I turned it to NBA tv and starting watching. One of the headlines were "Timberwolves guard Zach Lavine sprains finger and will be out for at least 3 games." I sighed and looked down at my finger. it ached really badly. someone knocked on the door frantically. it was getting late so who the heck would that be? I got up and went to the door. i opened it and it was Olivia. I was surprised she came. I thought she was mad at me.

"Zach I need to talk to you"

"Uh ok come in" I said while she walked in. "What's up?"

she took a breath and said, "ok so I told my dad about what happened between us and you know like the cheating stuff,and now he's really mad,and he's saying he was gonna trade you" she said

"what they're trading me?" I asked in confusion.

"Yes but I'm not gonna let him do that" she replied.

"Olivia why did you tell him,he's gonna hate me now"

"I don't know I was just hurt from this mess that's been happening. maybe if someone cheated on you,you would understand."

"I do understand, Brianna cheated on me"

"what?" she said looking confused. "Brianna said you cheated on her,that's why you broke up"

"No I didn't she lied,she cheated on me with klay"

"wow really"  she said wheel shaking her head.

"Yeah" i said looking down. "but why are you trying to stick up for me?shouldnt you be happy that they're trading me"

"because I still love you,I don't want you to leave" she said grabbing my hand. "besides,I forgive you now"

I can't believe she finally forgave me. Thought she never would.

"but what are you gonna do to try and stop him?"

"I'll go with you"

"What?"

"If  they trade you, I'm going where your going"

"You'd do that?"

"Yes" she said staring into my eyes. I stared back into her chocolate chip eyes. I felt like I fell in love with her all over again. she smiled at me flirtatiously and put her hand on my cheek. she pressed her lips against mine.

she pulled away and said, "don't worry Zach,as long as I'm here they ain't trading you"

I put my hands around her waist and pulled her close. I leaned in and kissed her on her soft lips. I think I finally got my girl back.

A/n~ so it looks like Olivia ended up falling for Zach AGAIN,but what about Steph?is she maybe gonna change her mind?i know Zach is happy tho haha. but it probably wasn't a good idea for her to tell her dad what happened with her and Zach but we'll see what happens. thank y'all so much for reading and voting for this book!i hope y'all are enjoying it and I'm gonna keep writing as much as I can!gn love ya guys💕
