The tow-truck comes and gets Adams car.

"Can you guys drop me off at my place? I have a few family members coming." Adam asks.

"Sure thing." I smile.

We follow the tow-truck and drop Adam off at his place.

"Bye merry Christmas Adam!" I shout.

"Merry Christmas." Max says.

"Oh yea we have to pick up some drinks for tomorrow!" I giggle.

We drive down to a Walmart and pick up a few drinks.

As we are walking back to the car I slip on some ice. A car starts to head towards me.

Max pushes me out of the way.

"MAX?!" I shout. I can't see him there is to much dust from the car.

Finally the dust clears and I see max sitting there with his ankle looking all weird.

I run over to him. "MAX! Oh my god your ankle. That's... Definitely broken." I say about to faint.

"Oh god. Help me to the car." Max orders.

He learns on me as I take him to the car.

He gets in and I get in the drivers seat.

"What's the nearest hospital?!"

Max doesn't reply.

I look over at him.

"Oh god. Max wake up. Shit why did he have to faint."

I shake him a little.

"Oh jeez max please wake up. Fine"

I put the car in gear and drive around looking for the nearest hospital.

My phone beeps.

It's Ross. I can't read it now I'm driving.

He decides to call.

"HELLO?" I answer.

"Whoa shelbs are you ok?!" Ross replies.

"Well max got hit by a car and now I can't find a goddamn hospital."

"WHAT. Ok where are you??"

"I'm at beholder street."

"There is one right around the corner!"

"I SEE IT. OK ROSS GOT TO GO BYEE."

We arrive at the hospital and max wakes up.

"Come on max. I need you to at least try."

I take him into the hospital.

"Um hi yea this ma-"

Max cuts me off.

"My ankle got hit by a car!"

The nurse looks at his ankle and takes us to a room.

I wait outside while max gets a cast and some crutches.

He walks out with his crutches and boot.

"Hey...I'm really sorry if I Just payed attention to what I was doing the-" I start to tear a little.

Max cuts me off.... Again.

"Hey." He wipes away the one tear that dripped down my cheek.

"It doesn't madder. You could've gotten killed. My ankle broke so what."

He smiles at me and lifts my chin up.

"I'm glad you didn't get hurt."

"All I bring is bad luck!" I say quickly.

"No you don't." He replies.

"Remember last year I set fire to a frozen pool."
We smile at each other.

"Come on let's go." He says

We walk outside and get in the car.

It was snowing so hard that we had to get off the roads.

I pulled into a café parking lot and we ran inside. Well I ran max kinda just slowly galloped.

"See all I bring is nothing but bad luck." I pout.

"Shelby this was just a coincidence."

Then someone turns on the weather.

"It looks like this snow storm isn't going to pass us for about 2 ta 3 hours."

The weather man reports.

"See bad luck!" I stomp over and sit down in a comfy little chair.

"Shelby come on you didn't do this."

Max comes over and sits next to me.

"Well now we are trapped!" I shout.

"At least I'm trapped with you." Max grins.

I blush. "Why me?"

"Because your funny, cute, and man I just love your little giggle."

"Stop your making me blush." I giggle.

"There's the little giggle!" Max shouts and starts to tickle me.

"Ahh no stop!" My giggle turns into a laugh.

"Max I can't breath!" I say in between my laughs.

Max stops.

I catch my breath.

"I'm glad your the one I'm stuck with too!" I grin
