Classes passed, and soon came math class. Jessie sat in her usual seat, and saw Andrew take his seat. Class wasn't going to start for about five minutes, so she walked over to his desk, sitting sideways on the top of it.
"What was that about this morning?" she asked.
"Wait—you're talking to me?" he asked, surprised.
"Well, I'm sitting on your desk, aren't I?" Jessie asked.
"Sadly," Andrew stated plainly.
"Seriously, what's your issue with me?" Jessie asked.
"I don't have an issue. You do," he said.
"What do you mean?" Jessie asked.
"Everyone wears a mask. Sadly, yours never comes off. And what you present yourself as is not good," Andrew said.
Just then, the bell rang. Jessie slowly got up and walked over to her seat, pretending to listen to the teacher as she pondered on Andrew's words.
